Life of Pi

Archive: 15 posts

Too cheap to spend you hard earned $$$ on taking your partner to the movies?

Why not treat them to a budget LBP version of the oscar nominated Life of Pi.....now showing at all seedy LBP cinemas!

No tigers were harmed in the making of this movie! 100% more pie content than the original!

Thanks for playing!
unfortunately I've just been informed the tiger who was in the movie has developed obesity related health issues after being exposed to a diet of too much pie!

Hi Enochroot,

thank you so much for the one and only movie version of "Life of Pie"! My secret information sources (you may remember my comment in another forum) have told me that the director of the second movie version, Ang Lee, has frustratedly resigned and is now on his way to a bonzery where he wants to spend his life in humility and modesty!^^ Its also said, that recently the voice of Steven Spielberg has been heard loudly crying over the studio lot of DreamWorks one name: "Enochroot!... Enoooochroooooot!... Hobbingen Shiiiiiire!"

Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Thanks for the feedback guys! Unfortunately due to lack of slot space I had to move this along with two previous ridiculous movies to a new home.
Here's the new link: http://lbp.me/u/Comedy_Shorts/levels
alongside Lord of the Rings and The Life of Bunny

I have quite a few more absurdly ridiculous movies lined up for release soon.

"Life of Pi", "Lord of the Rings" and "The Life of Bunny" didn't quite appeal to me (or my friend). They're ridiculous (in a cheap, madhouse way), but not really funny. You see a bunch of strange looking characters and some textlines, but there was no real story and no unexpected punchlines. You have to know the movies (or what they're about and the characters) to get the humour. And if you do, you just get something "different". If you like this sort of humour (like the scary movies) then this is for you. If you're looking for an original, amusing story with good characters, funny and unexpected turns & punchlines, then you've set your hopes too high.
But this isn't "EnochRoot"s fault, since he never promised something else. But it's still the reason, why I didn't quite like them. ^^

Haha amazing, your description sounds great, but it seems a... cat has "broked" it. Maybe it'll fix later?2013-02-25 15:35:00

apologies I moved it to a new home http://lbp.me/v/h23bv2

@Lumina...humour is a subjective experience and as stated in the Level description this is just a budget parody not a serious level, but if you care to take a look at my proper levels you'll see I'm more than capable of writing something more substantial such as this: http://lbp.me/v/ckgj4-

@EnochRoot
I already gave you a heart and a yay for "The Shadow of Your Smile" (great level - audiovisually and storywise).
So, I know what you're capable of. ^^
I just wanted to give you a honest explanation, why I didn't yay your shortvideos as well. ^^

Thanks Lumina, I really appreciate your feedback. An honest opinion is always to be valued, and I think you're right! That's why I moved the level to a different profile so it doesn't embaress my real work.
