LBPV - Sackbot Domination (Shooter)

Hello LBPC! I'm working on a Vita Vs. level that is loosley based on the Domination mode of the older Unreal Tournament games.

Concept:

There are 4 different tag switches in 4 different "Bases" (for lack of a better word). When a Sackbot (controled by a player) reaches the switch, it changes the color to that player's color. For every second the switch is your color, you get 5 points. The goal is to have the most points at the end of 5 minutes by keeping as many switches your color for as long as you can, and shooting fellow sackbots.

This game is set with the Independent Camera View, so every player gets their own view.

There are 6 different re-spawning NCP bots that will follow a specific patrol route until they get in range of a player, at which time they follow the nearest player.

3 shots kill the bots, 5 shots kills a fellow player. Bot shots do little damage to the players.

10 points for each landed hit on a player, 5 for each landed hit on a bot. 100 points for killing a fellow player, 50 for killing a bot.

Known Issue:

For some reason, the "bullets" seem to be able to go through solid wall as long as it's not too thick and you are just right. Not right against it either, which is what makes it weird...

I'd love any thoughts or feedback or anything. I'd really love to try playing this with someone online, but I've had no luck connecting to people..



NEW UPDATE:

Ok, so here's what I have changed:

Sackbot shots take 5% damage off of a player's health bar. Players take 15% off each others (another player). Players still take 34% damage off a sackbot ensuring 3 hits.

The "Control Point" no longer refills health. There is now a center area with 4 emitters to emit a healthpack. They are setup at 60 seconds, with synch set to 0, 15, 30 and 45.

I still have some empty space I'm not sure what to do about. I might change the spawn point for the players and use the empty spaces (there are 4) to be single healthpack spots with like a 20 second (or so) release rate.

I went ahead and published the level as "Sackbot Domination (BETA)". I didn't lock it because, as far as I know, I'd still have to publish something with the key right?

Looks great man, i couldnt find a really good deathmatch map on the vita yet, but maybe i didnt look hard enough... a good quality + fun and balanced deathmatch map, with a nice layout.

Shouldnt the health autimatically restore when u respawn? i dont get that point.

Why not put some healthpacks on the map? Like in the old Unreal Tournament Games?

U should let people test this thing... just publish is as closed level and send out some keys, i got a few friends i can test this out with. Because i cant really give good feedback at all, if i havnt played it.

The health does refill when you respawn, I just wanted a way to refill it before you die if you get to the right point in time. But for some reason I didn't think of a consumable item/healthpack lol. That's probably a better idea! Just setup an emitter or two with maybe a 20 second release rate? Or like 4 set to 60 seconds and a 25 second sync? So it's more random?

Maybe I will just publish what I have right now and put "Beta" or something in the title... Though I think I want to work in the healthpack idea first, that was a great idea!

Hey Rough Tea, did you ever beta test this with any of your friends? I may be willing to beta test with you a little bit if we could both find a time that works.
