I'm sorry for asking, (feel free to lock this thread once it's been answered) but I ordered the game online, and won't be getting it for a bit, so I figured I'd ask; does LBP karting have sackbots?

Sort of. There are different types of gongs you use for players and you can place microchips on them to use logic. The Downside is you cant do some things you could normally do to bots (Like Controlling them by yourself) and you can only have a max of 7 players (8 including you). But the good news is you can apply this logic to human controlled players

In terms of Sackbots you can use as NPCs that talk to you and walk around - No. There are Sackbots that race with you though.
