Some of you may have seen the costume that looks like this: http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww98/Pixelledfox/valkyria_chronicles_sml.jpg People said it's fan art although its not, it has been sort of mentioned by Sam_P that the image was leaked and it goes something like this: Here's how this is going to work... I confirm whether or not this item is official or not, then three weeks from now someone posts a nicely rendered image of Captain Zog, popular character from the hit TV series Captain Zog and the Cheese Gunners(*) and I get a similar request to confirm or deny its authenticity. The problem is that we're still in discussion with the creators of Captain Zog and the Cheese Gunners and the leaked image that you have was created by us to help show off what we could do in the game. At this point my hands are tied - I can't confirm its authenticity because the deal hasn't been completed, neither can I deny that it's official because that'd be lying (and mean I'd have a hard time convincing anyone of anything in the future). So I'm left with either closing my eyes and pretending the question doesn't exist, or replying with "I can neither confirm or deny... etc". The problem being that because I've previously given the thumbs up or thumbs down over a piece of licensed content this answer is a clear admission that it's real! Why this lengthy story? Simply because until something is ready to be announced I can't talk about it, so denying something's authenticity at any point would mean that by not talking about another character in the future I'm basically confirming that it's real. So in this and every case of a Sackboy character cropping up, fuelling speculation and looking pretty authentic the only answer I can give is.... I can neither confirm or deny whether we're considering putting out this costume. It looks good though, don't you think? *I can neither confirm or deny whether Captain Zog content will be appearing in LittleBigPlanet. Captain Zog is referred to here purely as an example. I've never heard of the character either lol, but I LOVE the outfit I dont get what the fuss about a Sephiroth costume is anyway, a Reno costume would rock so much harder

Lol sephi costumes not to great i mean he gets killed every game hes in (what a loser) i played the crisis core and turns out Cloud kills him when hes still just a noob lol which is imo BS because Sephi is always so hard to fight on hardest diffuculty but oh look at me im cloud im just a noob but killed sephi in one hit... i hate cloud lol but anyway Reno would be cool, i think if you had patience you could make a excellent Renocostume, i might try make one. im gunna get this costume just for the hair really it would go great under a top hat lol

The only answer is "maybe"

The only answer is "maybe" That's pretty much hitting the nail on the head. Whether it's a leaked image, a skillful fan creation or a mockup done to show what could be done I can't ever confirm or deny authenticity as to do so for one group, fan creations for example, would mean that denial of another group would be taken as an automatic positive. The reason I can't talk about costumes and themes we're working on in this way is because sometimes license deals are still in discussion, or we haven't decided if it's something we're going to pursue or not, or a variety of other seemingly innocuous reasons.
