I recently got LBPV for Christmas, and I've been having some issues with downloadable content. I spoke with PlayStation Consumer Services via email, but they weren't very helpful and kept referring to the outdated FAQ on littlebigplanet.com, saying things such as "the content will be available as soon as we are able to convert these costumes." It isn't as if the DLC isn't there or isn't working properly, it just shows up on the PlayStation Store as not purchased. Don't get me wrong, the Sony support rep. was nice and all, but they didnt exactly seem to understand the situation. I'll summarize what I told them- I'm having issues with the Metal Gear Solid Level Pack, Metal Gear Solid Costumes, Monsters Costumes, Monsters Pack, History Costumes, History Pack, and Animals Costumes, they all work fine on my PS3, I did not get the content by gamesharing, I have confirmed that the DLC functions for other Vita-users, and I only have one PSN account (North American, my username is Super_Clone).

Ive read your posts on GS, im sry i didn't have the time to assist you there. The real question now is where did you acquire the licenses for those packs? It sounds like the vast majority of DLC that came pre-packaged with the LBP:GOTY edition. These licenses do not transfer over. These pack do work as you've stated but chances are the individuals with the cross DLC licenses paid for that content, not received it as part of an on disc bundle. Can you confirm that this is in fact the case? If not i can still help you with the matter.

I am not sure about the costume packs not working but LittleBigPlanet Vita does not support LittleBigPlanet 1 & 2 level packs. Only the costume packs are avalabile for the Vita, no materials or tools from the console level packs. The DLC unlocked via a special edition of the game (like GOTY) won't be useable on the Vita as well Also make sure that your LittleBigPlanet Vita copy is an North American version as LBP DLC is region locked. (For example an UK account won't be able install it's DLC on an NA version of LittleBigPlanet)

They were part of the Game of the Year edition, but I had thought I had seen an older topic on GS where Simon said that they were currently working on support for the GotY costumes. I was thinking that perhaps there was just something I was missing, or maybe I could have gotten an update on that, but I suppose not. I guess that I'll just have to repurchase them, then? Oh, and the level packs do carry over, they only contain the bonus costume. That was how it worked for the PotC level kit, at least.

You are absolutely right! Simon did mention that he would look into it. Ill bug him about it next time i speak with him, find out if he ever received a definite answer. Honestly though i wouldn't get my hopes up, i have my doubts that anything will come out of this. I have a similar problem. Firstly I could not find the PotC level kit, I assumed they straight up weren't there. These are the things I have brought that I can't get (by can't get, I mean they straight up aren't there) on the Vita version: Sacktue of Liberty Costume. St Partick's Day Costume Santa Hat and Beard Costume Santa Coat and Trousers Costume Birthday Cake Costume World Peace Day Costume Perseids Costume Tron: Evolution Minipack Clu Costume (this one I got free with LBP2 for pre-ordering, but considering I could download the Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank costumes it doesn't make any sense this one isn't there? I know it's compatible with LBP Vita because they have the Tron: Legacy Minipack there. But I have it somehow, so I'm not worried about it anymore ) Sack in the Box Costume Sack Eating Plant Costume I really hope that they get put on the store sometime soon, and if they can put the level kits there too that'd be awesome! That's not all of my stuff that isn't showing up though, I just wen't to LittleBigPlanet.com and wen't through all of the DLC on LBP Vita, I know there is a lot more missing, I've spent hundreds on DLC on LBP and LBP2

The level kits do not transfer over to LBPV. I can confirm that all of the above DLC you've mentioned are in the store. If you have legitimately purchased these items (or redeemed from voucher) than there will be a record of it in your transaction history. You will need this info in order to sort out your issue. As far as I'm know the only costume that has yet to resurface in LBPV is the 7-11 Slurpee Tee. Simon (community coordinator) has also confirmed this to be the case in this thread HERE (https://getsatisfaction.com/littlebigplanet/topics/old_dlc_on_lbpvita) If you need help getting this info I can point you in the right direction.

Technically, the level kits do transfer over, but their only contents are any costumes included- in ratchetruler's case, the Cannibal outfit found in the PotC pack.

That is very unusual. I have looked all through the small list of packs and costumes in the in-game store and found none of what I mentioned. Then I went into the actual PlayStation Store, and all those which I listed are not actually there, I can't download them because I can't even find them. Could it be that the New Zealand PlayStation Store is missing an update? Because I find it very strange that these items don't exist. Oh and my PS3 is currently unusable due to some sort of overheating issue, so I am not supposed to turn it on, I don't need it for this do I?

New Zealand PlayStation Store? Hmmm If you navigate into the PS store from inside LBPV they also dont show up? There may be an issue here. You aren't the first EU user to tell me that they simply cant see most of the DLC in store. It would be advisable to add to This Thread (https://getsatisfaction.com/littlebigplanet/topics/old_dlc_on_lbpvita) but in the mean time if you can pull your transaction records then contacting customer support with this info in hand may get the job done quicker. Be advised however as calling playstation customer support can be an exercise in frustration.

Thanks, I posted in Get Satisfaction and will wait for some answers. They are doing a PlayStation Store update right now, so if there is a problem with the store, then I will probably have to wait for the next one (so I think that's a month)

you are correct there is scheduled PSN maintenance right now but only for another few hours. I can still log into PSN and play online but i have no access to account management, PSN Store or LBP.me. Fingers(bean bags? hacky sacs? seriously! what counts as sackboy fingers?!?!?!)Crossed! :star:

Well what I meant was, that if the Store has to be updated with this stuff, then I will have to wait a month before they update it, because I'm pretty sure it's a monthly thing. EDIT: I just found the Tron: Evolution Pack in the store, it must have been added recently. I don't know where the Clu costume came from, but I apparently now have it (without having to download) I think it came with the Tron: Evolution pack, which is odd, because it's not supposed to. Anyway there's two thing s I can tick off the list.

Hello there.I have been away from LBPV for some time and recently picked it up again and have noticed that DLC I once had is now missing.I have gone to the store (both in game and on PSN) and re-downloaded from PSN but it is still not accessible.Any assistance would be much appreciated.I know this is an old thread and this might not even get seen but I thought I would give it a try anyway. The DLC is the knights of old pre-order
