I have the game for the PC its great Especially if you shoot at an car and the car alert goes on and hundreds of zombies come out of nowhere

haha I love this game, my best friend has it... I love setting everything on fire with molotov's or gas cans or whatever! xD It's also great how all the zombies are attracted to pipe bombs when you throw them!

Is it just me or do those graphics look dumbed down...just wondering becasue the lap top I have is kind of older and I think I might have problems playing this but I really want to get it.

All the videos I've seen showed really half life 2 sorta graphics where it was nice but not that nice. However what youtube doesn't show is the lovely film grain effect which makes everything look so much better. You have to have it in front of you to appreciate it; my cousin let me try it out on his Steam account and I loved it personally but at the moment I really just want to play ps3 so I haven't bought it myself.

I am actually probably going to buy a 360 just for this game If you can get it for PC, that way any extras that come out will be free plus you'll get mods from the community and even a few exclusives just for PC.

I super-duper suggest you to buy it on PC. (Unless of course, your rig can't take it) Valve has great customer support, and they give updates for free. (plus mods, skins, and other stuff. Yummy!)

The only thing is that, for me at least, the AI director doesn't change much. I always beast it through the first few levels and then on the third one whatever the level, when I activate the 'thing' which sets off the horde I always get 2-3 tanks and can never beat them .

Well I have to say that I was a bit wary of buying it. The game is a good ?27 on steam and I wasn't sure whether to get it or the Gmod+TF2 bundle for ?16. Luckily I found a website that sells the game for a measly ?17 I won't give details because that'd be making an ad but if you search for left for dead forums they have a link to it in a banner at the top and/or in a thread. I really love paypal now getting things for much cheaper than before because on the website it's advertised as ?18 but with a nice rate shaved another quid off. Feeling chuffed with myself :hero: Also sounds like a DLC is coming out this month allowing for player made maps. Anyone who has steam can you add me as a friend, I'm very lonely at the moment ; steam account is Shermzor.

Added though I'm GMT so we might never see eachother :blush: I had a quick playthrough on versus last night (first night of L4D so i'm noobish). Got in a group with three other guys and one of them constantly telling people what to do. He's not shouting, it's just that he heavily co-ordinates everything. So anyway we keep losing every single game and he gets more and more annoyed. I get blamed for quite a lot since I admitted this was my first night, and to be fair they did try and tell me some stuff, but I would always be top of the team until they all died and said "Just run around and distract them" which I think now that I've played a lot more games was just a nooby thing to do. The final straw is on No Mercy with the trains. We're in the saferoom and he says 'I don't know how we're going to beat the tank, everyone rush right and hope there is a molotov'. So even though I know it's a bad idea I follow on thinking I'm safe since this guy knows best. I get pounced within 15 secs then I get back up then I'm pounced again within 2 secs and I'm left to die since my team is already down the stairs . He says "I can't believe what I'm seeing here" and I get kicked just as I'm going to leave the game. Hopefully that guy is of a minority of people who can't have fun playing versus.

Yeah, then amazingly every game after I'm with people with no mics and we have an awesome time even if we get owned within seconds. On Dead Air versus the tank appears really early on (I think it's a modded server) and no-one ever makes it to the finish but we still had fun. The problem is when you start thinking you're playing campaign and you forget the infected are actually thinking about how to break your team. Plus the guy kept saying 'wait until everyone is ready' even though that meant that the survivors were waltzing on on easy mode. Plus he called me shezmor! My name is floating above my bloody head! Still it's an amazing game when you don't run into those people.
