How to make a song play during the pre-race cutscene every time

| If you use a pre-race cutscene in your level, you can also specify a song to play during the cutscene. You can hook up the output of the pre-race handler on the scoreboard (the rectangle-shaped depression on the left side of the floor of the scoreboard) to the input of a music player. This does work when you load the level for the first time. However, when you restart the level via the pause menu, the music does not play when the cutscene starts up again. Using this setup, the pre-race song only plays when the level is loaded and run for the first time. It is unknown if this is intended to be this way, or it is a bug. I did find a workaround to this so that the song you choose always plays even when you restart the level. place a Timer gadget on the scoreboard (or nearby) and hook up the pre-race handler output to its input. Go to the Timer gadget's properties and set its duration to a fairly fast time (0.5 seconds or less). Hook up the output of the Timer gadget to the input of the song player containing the song you wish to play during your pre-race cutscene This workaround will guarantee that your pre-race cutscene song will always play, even when you restart the level. | 2013-01-06 05:09:00 Author: JudgeSpear  Posts: 122 |

I checked, and the only play options are to indicate whether you want the song to play at race start or not.
