Anyone know how 2D/3D was done...

He manages to swap between 2D and 3D using the left shoulder button, I would love to know how this is done anyone have a clue?

Just the fact that I remember the level off the top of my head speaks to how good it is.

I am fairly certain it was done using an option on the movie cameras. I think it's called isometric view, or something like that. If you max it out the camera goes into the same view that level uses.

I had a look at the movie camera but could not find the isometric view option but did find flatness which seems to give you the 2D view when set to say 5, however it is not possible to follow the player and use this option. Any other ideas?2013-01-05 14:15:00

Actually it is possible to follow the player, and I'm fairly certain movie camera's was how he did it.
What you need to do is get a piece of hologram material, put a microchip on it, on the micro chip out the camera(s) with the effect(s) you want on it, and also put a Follower set to Follow Player on the microchip.
Doing this you have a camera with the desired settings, following you via the piece of hologram material that is following you.

Oh hey there... I'm maybe too late but if you want i can share the logic in copyable level. I'm using a movie camera on a piece of holo following the player, with a few more logic for checkpoints/death. I'm not using in/out movers, i'm using emit/destroy instead but both options seems fine.

Anyway please let me know if you still need the logic.

Feel free to ask questions if you have any, and if you want details on others stuff from the level. But this feature the core logic (checkpoints, 2D/3D camera, red obstacles).
