I know the canyon background is from LBP1, but I've seen people use it in LBP2. Does anyone know how to get it?

unlock it in lbp1, load up lbp 2 and it will ask if you want to update your lbp2 profile with the new things u have unlocked in lbp1

To get it in LBP2 you need to have played LBP1 and unlocked it. If there is any changes to your LBP1 profile then the next time you play LBP2 it will ask you if you want to update your profile with any new objects that you have made/collected/recieved from LBP1.
