I just had to post this here since I haven't had the chance to post this anywhere yet. It's not a movie-question but a cinema-question. I am not asking your opinions about movies, but I made this to share funny stories that have happened when you have gone out to watch movies. My strangest experience was lately, when I went to see two different movies. It was a random day of a random month when my girlfriend forced me to go watch the last Twilight-movie with her. I didn't like it and I was pretty obvious about it. My girl didn't like it either, or she was rather disappointed, at least. Then, in December I had a deal where I would go see Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey with my brother. Sadly, he couldn't come to the first-night-viewing of it as he was forced to miss it as in Finland it's required by law for people to complete military-service. I was slightly disappointed, standing next to my car with two movie-seat-tickets to the Hobbit. The it hit me. Two hours before the movie would begin I ringed the doorbell of my girlfriend's house. She came to open and I was like: "Okay, it's time to go see a movie!" The fun thing was that she had no idea I was going to see it with my brother in the first place. So I pretty much dragged her to see the movie. As the movie ended around 3AM we were both tired as ****. However, then it happened. She apologised for taking me to see, and I quote from her words, a bullpoop movie like Twilight. Then we made a deal that we would watch all the uncut Lord of The Rings movies Christmas day 25th of December and we did. So I pretty much turned my somewhat ordinary girl into a fantasy/RPG-nerd by taking her see Hobbit. That's my funny story. Anything strange ever happened to you? Doesn't have to have anything to do with you, it's enough if you've seen or heard something strange happen to another person in movies. So... go?

One of my friends fell asleep during a LOTR movie and we managed to take all his M&M's and change seats without him noticing. I don't go often so that's all I got.

Well, my friend really wanted to beat the stuffing out of some teenagers that were acting dumb during a movie( ie, OH MAH GAAAHHHD flinging food and whatnot), but she was convinced otherwise. ...I kinda wanted to see that, BUT THAT'S JUST MEEEEE. :3

I had a small teddy bear thrown at me once... they had ran out of popcorn. I didn't even know them. people can be mean. But hey! I got a teddy bear so it's their loss!

I saw the movie Rock of Ages over the summer. The movie froze right as the previews were coming on. We ended up sitting there for fifteen minutes before someone went out to get an usher to fix it. Also, at a Rifftrax Live movie event, the first Fathom Events preview commercial got stuck on a loop. It kept playing the same commercial over and over again. I can hear the man from the commercial saying "TERMINATE THEM" over and over in my brain because of how many times it played before someone fixed it. Oh, and at Scream 4, the guy behind me was so terrified at one point that he kicked the back of my chair so hard that it launched me forward and I nearly fell over the railing.

My sister and I are avid popcorn enthusiasts - we cannot go to the movies without buying the "large buttered popcorn". Quite a few years back my nephew decided to secretly drop a few Sour Patch Kids into my sister's popcorn when he was pretending to take a few bites of popcorn. He patiently waited until she took "the bite". She didn't understand what hit her until she realized he was losing it next to her. I love that kid.

I remember when I was a kid, everytime I finished watching a movie, I would try do recreate everything from it, like from the Nanny Mcphee series, I would go find a stick and stomp it and pretend something awesome is happening. And after a Spider Man movie I would always climb up the sides of my doorways... Ah memories.

I remember when I was like 10 or whatever and my best friend and I went to see Wall-E. When an important scene happened in the movie, we would always say the obvious stuff that the scene had just revealed. When the whole "Come on the Axiom" thing was shown, I would feverishly whisper "Holy, darn (since I was ten and would never say a bad word)! Humans needed to leave Earth because they polluted it too much!" And when we first saw what the humans had became, he excitedly whispered to me "Jesus Crisp! Years of not walking has turned these people into fat guys!" This went on for the entire movie. We were stupid.

When I went to see the first Kill Bill movie, there were two teenagers sitting a few rows in front of us that wouldn't shut up. Laughing, screaming, actually playing music on their phones... They wouldn't respond to polite requests to be quiet. They didn't respond to the less nice demands. The theater staff didn't do anything other than meekly request that they quiet down... We were seeing this movie close to where a bunch of my co-workers live. Specifically, some very big, potentially scary looking dudes. I called two of them up, explained the situation, asked them if they wanted to see a free movie. I bought their tickets and they came into the theater. One sat on each side of the two loudmouths. My guys then put their arms around the kids' shoulders and told them not to move, not to talk, not to make a sound... The rest of the movie was much, much quieter...
