Adding Lava to a Level
Archive: 5 posts
Hi all, new creator here. I was wondering if it is possible to add lava to a level, and also if it is possible to have water at higher altitudes. As I am quite new, could you please explain things step-by-step? Thank you in advance. | 2013-01-01 23:37:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
Hi all, new creator here. I was wondering if it is possible to add lava to a level, and also if it is possible to have water at higher altitudes. As I am quite new, could you please explain things step-by-step? Thank you in advance. Well first of all, welcome to LBP Central ![]() Step 1: Open your popit and go to "Global Settings". Step 2: Look under "Level Settings" and you will see a water icon. Select it. Step 3: Use the up and down button on the d-pad to change the height of the water to the desired level. *Nevermind, I just realized that you can't even change the colour of the water. There are so many good things about the create mode in LBPK but in my opinion too many good things have been taken away from the create mode in LBP2, which is exactly why I focus on LBP2 levels even after LBPK's release :meh: . | 2013-01-01 23:46:00 Author: MSTER232 ![]() Posts: 247 |
You can change water color, but you need to put a Water Color Tweaker on the level from the Tool Bag to do so. | 2013-01-02 00:00:00 Author: IvoYaridovich ![]() Posts: 88 |
Thanks for correcting me but I don't like the way that features in create mode seem jumbled up compared to LBP2's create mode. Just my 2 pence. | 2013-01-02 00:23:00 Author: MSTER232 ![]() Posts: 247 |
If you'd like to make water look like lava, then the posts here are good. There is also a material that looks like lava in the basic materials section. I don't know if it automatically destroys your kart, but if not, you could always make it dangerous by placing a Danger Tweaker on it. You could also use the goo (I can't remember the exact name) and change the color of it to be orange in a tweak menu to make it look like flowing lava without the black rocks in the lava material. The goo material is also a basic material, and its normal color is green. These are all pretty easy to find. Good luck. ![]() | 2013-01-02 01:17:00 Author: Remy ![]() Posts: 252 |
