Player sensor drops signal with >1 player detected

So I'm trying to set up a track with an extra gameplay mechanic. Basically, there are lava flows everywhere, and each person has a heat gauge on their hud (it's a dial). when you drive over the lava, the heat gauge rises, starts beeping about 2/3 of the way, and when it gets all the way full your kart explodes and resets. This is all working fine, but there's one problem: when you are on the lava, and another kart drives onto it, the gauge starts dropping back to zero until it leaves. The lava flows have player sensors that signal the gauge logic on the spawn points. I've tried using both a single player sensor and one for each team with the spawn points set to teams 1-8.

TL;DR, player sensor puts out a signal when only one player is on it, more than one drops the signal, regardless of set team.

Sound like to me you might need to use tag sensors instead. Make different color tags for each team.2013-01-01 06:40:00
