So maaaany ideas!

Hey guys!

I've never tried making a thread-project for my level, but once I tried for my (never finished) entry for the PLCC4 (that required you to make a blog of your progress, pretty much similar of what I'm trying to do) and it was kinda fun, so here we go.

Lately I've got an astonishing amount of brand new games (thanks to Christmas which brought a PS Plus subscription -truly an "instant game collection", a Wii U , and lots of other stuff) so I may be a little slow in progressing with my level, but I'm still very interested in publishing more stuff in LBPVita/LBP2.

Anyway..... Right now the project is in pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-Alfa version... I mean its just starting. So I need your help to decide the theme of my level! I've come up with a few ideas, and if you imagine something you really would like to see please post them as well. Here are some of the level themes I've been thinking:

-Fast platforming futuristic level. Featuring lots of contraptions and bubblessssss. And bubble chains. And bubbles.
-Level with Grabinator-themed gameplay in which you have to grab an object and then jump, bounce, let go, grab again, etc. while going over a rail. I know, you didn't understand a word. Its like in Victoria's garden level where you could grab cakes and then go on rails avoiding pink deadly stuff or Comphermc's Roller Inc. 2 which took the concept even further.
-Maybe a... Minigame? Lol, no idea of what this could be right now.
-A platformer and puzzler with very pretty visuals in some kind of foggy sky ruins. Don't really think it could fit Vita's capacity, but already started it in LBP2.
-Sackbot level where you can manipulate time to control the world that surrounds you. Been working on the concept for years, but I'm not sure if I'll ever complete it. If I do, however, I may include Cross-Play compatibility, as I've got some clever ideas for the Vita-PS3 gameplay.
-A little level series (lets say 3 levels) with a deeper story, I want something with an Uncharted feel. So good story that involves some research so that you look for some hidden city or something, and that is a platformer-puzzler.

Agh so many text. If you read all that, thanks! Anyway, please post which you liked best OR what you'd like to see!

EDIT: Also please comment what platform you would prefer: Vita or PS3. Been publishing lots of stuff in Vita lately, I may do something for LBP2 as well.

Ok, now I'm bursting with ideas. Anyway, I decided I should begin focusing on something. I really like the idea of making a fast-platformer (RikiRikiIta has always been one of my LBP idols) so a few days ago I began thinking of gameplay ideas and creating the level. Will upload some pics soon! 2013-01-03 05:26:00

I vote for Vita! lol I've tried going back to LBP2 after using LBPV, and my brain has all kinds of problems. (The static/dynamic feature is just so freaking good and greatly missed in LBP2.) I like the idea of the grabinator level - its a feature that doesn't get much use. as soon as I read 'unchartered feel' I instantly thought of epic cutscenes with lots of explosions - looking forward to it!

If you need a hand with the cutscenes, I think I've finally got my head around it (after years of trying), happy to help.

Thanks bud! I'll try to make every single ome of these levels, but it will take some time. Just put aside the fast-platformer to focus on something with the 3D glitch which looks awesome in Vita, something hopefully quick like a survival challenge.

U got some great ideas... i will steal them all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nah just joking, i like those ideas, i mostly would like to see a lvl that uses the grabinator with clever ideas. Its a rare level type.

Also please comment what platform you would prefer:

I own LBP and LBP 2, and i never created much there, but i definitely prefer the vita, it seems like (besides the touch controls) that it got some features (its big brothers dont have), which are very useful, it got a smaller community and some online issues, but from the point of creating, i prefer the vita much more, i wouldnt even want to create on a big screen, since with the vita i can create while watching tv, a movie or something, i can create on the toilet lol where i am most creative ^o^ and i can put it aside whenever i want and need like 5 seconds to get in the game again, and if u do a break on the ps3 u turn it off than gotta restart, **** it takes like 5 minutes to finally get into the game... thats the thing i like most about lbpv, i have very fast access to it. Vita ftw.
