Can you think of a LBP related News Headline that no one will ever see? Excercise your imagination a bit, and create a Headline that somehow relates to a real world topic, but impacts LBP in a humorous way. Still not sure what I mean? Maybe an example will help. MY HEADLINE: "LATE BREAKING NEWS FLASH; Mayan end of calender predictions come true. Craftverse field reporter, Sackard Scott, reports live from the field, that "new polarized polar poles are popping up everywhere. I'm standing on one now. It's like Attracto-Gel, and my controller is going bonkers. In the past few hours, 7 new poles have appeared, taking the Craftverse polarized polar pole total to 13. This could have devastating effects, and there are even rumors that Game Diverging incidents have significantly increased. This reporter is keeping his fingers crossed...is there anything that can be done?" IN OTHER NEWS; Sony has just released a statement to Sackomedia recalling 1.3 billion 6 Axis Controllers, so they can be tweaked, adjusted, reconfigured and realigned to support the new 13 Axis requirements of Craftverse. Sony's media spokesperson was quoted as saying "No need to panic...unless you really want to. We have been anticipating the need to provide increased Axis controls, with the Mayan predictions and all. Our R&D Team is working round the clock to ensure you have a pleasureable experience. Tens of thousands of players flocked to the level, but within mere seconds, destroyed their Sony Playstation 3 controllers in a fit of rage. With no controllers to play their favorite level and/or create levels with, these video game players flocked to their local retail outlets for new controllers. Said one Wal-mart employee, "I, uh, don't know what happened. One minute I'm stocking shelves and the next thing you know, Pow! I'm on the floor as a group of angry video game players were fighting over the PS3 controllers." We caught up with one of these Little Big Planet addicts, who goes by the online name of biorogue, and asked him what had happened. I'm sittin' at house, browsing LBP.me and noticed that Compher published a new Roller Inc level. Well, I really liked that last one, so I queued it up you know? The level loads and Whoa! That's trademarked, you can't use it without my permission or you can pay me a $1000 royalty. Tom Tattle: What's trademarked? biorogue: the "Whoa!" I trademarked it. You can't use it. Tom Tattle: Ok, what if I gave you $10? biorogue: Done! Ok, anyway, the level loads and I'm like, "Whoa!" It's really awesome looking. But dang, I took 3 steps into the level and it was just too hard. I must've tried, what, maybe a hunnert times and just couldn't do it. Sweat was pouring into mah eyes and my hands were cramping up and the next thing you know, I'm hurling the controller across the room. It busts into a thousand pieces and I'm like, dang! So I come down to the Wal-mart to get me another one and see that they done nearly tripled the price of these things! Then some kid starts saying how he heard there's a shortage of them because of this hard level on LBP and next thing you know, there's a big brawl breaks out. Tom Tattle: I see. Well, thank you biorogue for your, umm, take on the story. We phoned Jack Tretton, President and CEO of SCEA and asked, "Why the spike in price?" Jack: Hey, these kids want to bust their controllers, that's no skin off my nose. But if they want a new one, they got to pay. We also got in touch with Mr. CompherMC and here's what he had to say about the situation. CompherMC: Muwhahahahahaha --LOL And there you have it. The price of Playstation Controllers triples due to one insanely hard level. News just in! A new LBP DLC pack is coming in early 2013. We talked to the friendly people at MM and asked them what this new level pack is. Tony - News reporter Tom M - MM worker Tony - Tom i see your making a new DLC pack for LBP. What is it going to be called? Tom M - This new DLC pack is called little big pack. if you buy it. It will unlock all of the locked story levels and it will ace all story levels and collect all prizes. Tony - Don't you think this is unfair? What about the people who want to finish the game by themselves? Tom M - No it's not unfair. There's one catch to the pack tho. It costs $9.99 Tony - Don't you think your ripping your costumers off? Tom M - As long as we are making money. Were not going to rip costumers off. Tony - There you have it. MM is releasing a new pack in early 2013. This will be the worst LBP DLC pack to ever be released. Hopefully it fails and makes no money. This is Tony reporting from littlebignews. BREAKING NEWS! LBP3 Beta invites are being sent out. I tried to sell mine for $30 but the max you can sell DLC for is $20 Tony - Do you know where the money goes to? I mean where does it go once someone has brought your DLC. Sacko53- It either goes to me, Sony or MM. Just depends Tony - I heard a rumor you can play with 8 people in your pod or your level. Is this true? Sacko53- Yes its true. I got bored with only being able to play with 4 people at a time. Now i can play with all of my friends at the same time. Tony - What about lag? Won't it lag if there's to much objects or people in the level. Sacko53- Yes it would lag but it looks like we have a ANTI-LAG tool. You simply pause the game and go to the menu and select ANTI-LAG and the game comes up with a black screen for 3 seconds then the game goes back to normal without the lag. Tony - I heard MM made new beta vests? Is this true? Sacko53 - Yep sure is. Its a animated beta vests. It changes colors every 2 seconds.
