Hello all! Check here, or Claire, whichever you prefer to call me.
If you knew me before I went on [most likely] a year or so hiatus, I used to do reviews fairly often!
And seeing how I am pretty much back again, I am ready to do more reviews!

Here's the application of sorts I will be filling out for your level, with a bit of an explanation after the initial score to tell you why I graded you that score.
All [Except the overall score] will be filled out on a basis of 1-10, 1 being the worst and 10 being the opposite.

---

Gameplay [How well does your level play?]:
Level setting [How well is your level built and laid out?]:
Eyecatch [How pretty and eyecatching is your level and does this fit the level?]:
Involvement [How much is the player involved with? Does it keep them playing?]:
Emotion [Does the level instill the player with the right emotion?]:
Overall score [5-50]:

---

So, send in your levels and I will certainly review them!

Absolutely! Here are the results! : D

Seeing as this is a LBP1 level, I can grade a bit more leniently as LBP1 was somewhat limited in level building, unlike LBP2, where you have a lot more ways to keep building your level. And overall this is really nice, seeing as again, your resources are limited.

Gameplay : Definitely a 9 for this. The gameplay is well suited for a platformer like your level. It was very well made, and all of the platformer bits were easy but still somewhat challenging, I was certainly having fun while still having to keep on my toes. Very nice! The only reason I took a point off was because some bits were a tad bit easy, but it's not a huge problem as most other challenges were able to balance it out.

Level setting : 9.5. The level is constructed very nicely. It is neat and everything looks right. You used what you had really well. The .5 is due to your lack of hiding your technology. I was constantly seeing strings and key swutches everywhere. Although, this is not a big deal due to the fact that everything else can somewhat draw your eyes away from the showing components.

Eyecatch : 10. This is definitely a very pretty level, and your use of decorations, while very frequently used, all blends together nicely, adding a great touch for a forested area. And as I said earlier, your use of decorations, while this may not have been intentional, was able to distract me from some minor errors. Very good job!

Involvement : There is a lot of interaction from the player with all the switches, so a 10. You do a very nice job with keeping the player moving and interacting with the level. The level is constantly changing, and it is because of the player. This is a good thing to do, especially in platformers, as it helps keep the player playing! Great work! uwu

Emotion : While there is limited emotion for a platformer, I really enjoyed how you didn't make it like a really calm jungle, you used upbeat music and it made the jungle feel more alive and wild. A 10 for sure.

Overall score [5-50]: 48.5

Great job! It's very surprising how well this was done with the old LBP. I hope you liked my review!

Hello Claire.

Mind checking out my recently published level North lake town, its a hangout perhaps changes the criteria slightly as the player is given the choice to do whatever they please whether its to purchase a house, go racing, swimming,to work or just to look around. Either way i hope you enjoy the level see you soon.

North lake part of the series of hangouts by Spaceraoul28 not to be confused with South beach the levels older brother.

PS. Great banner at the top .

Sure! And yes, the fact that it's a hangout certainly changes it up a bit. I'll grade a bit differently due to that.
And thank you, I drew it myself! uwu

Gameplay : Seeing as how this is a hangout, I'm grading this on how well the level plays as a hangout. As in, is it well built and made well to serve it's purpose? Anyhow, I give this a 9.5! I absolutely love the fact that it's not just any kind of hangout level, it's almost like an RPG instead of just a little area to run around and sit around in. The only thing I disliked was that you start off already with enough money to buy the luxury house! If you started off with like... 5,000, half of the smaller house, there would be more realism to it. It's not bad, but still... what's the fun in already having enough money to do pretty much whatever you want?

Level setting : This level is built really well! I love it a lot due to how you made everything work just right. All the little working spots and stores made this level enjoyable as I played around in it. Definitely a 9. I removed a point due to the fact that it's a liiittle bland, as you didn't really add anything in the background and it's just a blank background that changes due to the time of day.

Eyecatch : 9 as well. Same reason in particular. It's very bland besides the shops and whatnot.

Involvement : 10 for sure! This is a very interactive level. There's so much to do, and almost everything is interactive in the fact that you can earn money and buy cars and houses and decorate them to your liking. Absolutely wonderful!

Emotion : Perhaps a 8.5 for this. It is a very fun level, but it's a bit boring with very little decoration and whatnot. However, it's not too bad, so there's no need for me to subtract too many points.

Overall score [5-50]: 46.

I hope my review was helpful! I really enjoyed your level!

Thanks for reviewing my level!
The logic though, I swear it didn't show when I first made it. I haven't played LBP2 in a year but when I played it a couple of days ago for the first time, I played my level and I was thinking "Why is all of this logic showing? I know I hid this...." xD

I have an Atlantis level full of great areas to take pictures. It is a platformer and can be challenging in some parts if you are new to platforming.
Please take and upload pics if like.
