Corrupted save

Archive: 4 posts

Hey there,

It seems my LBP Vita save vas corrupted, but the error message is really weird : it says my save is to recent, and it seems I have no choice but to erase my current save. I guess i'll lose everything (progression & created levels not published yet) in the process.

I have a backup of my Vita I made about 2 weeks ago, but it's the entire content and restoring it will delete all progression I made on other games since the backup.

Do you know if there is a solution to restore the lbp vita save in the backup without losing progression on other games, or if there is a way to fix the current save?

thanks

Sorry to hear that bud! I also lost my data about a week ago. Luckily I had saved a backup in my PS3, but I lost all my data (ex. creation data) that wasn't in the backup. I don't really think there is a way to save your data once LBP says it is corrupted, but maybe somebody knows about it a little more than I do.2012-12-27 13:56:00

i had exactly the same problem! i made a backup, and tapped the delete button. my progression was still saved, but levels, pods and self-made costumes were gone... i havent tried to backup yet, because there was still nothing on my moon, so i dont know if backing up will work...
this and some other problems, like a crashed download page, happened with and after update 1.06.

I confirm that using the delete button with the error message "Save is too recent" will delete all the content on the moon/pod/costumes but not the progression. Restoring the backup restored my game as it was when I made it. I've lost something like 20 or 30 hours of creation, but this is my fault as my latest backup was quite old.2013-01-17 16:48:00
