Keep getting a reset while making track.

Archive: 7 posts

I just made a jump & EVERY time I land I get an OFF TRACK notice & it resets me. OK, here is what i did. I made a incline to a level section & then a decline. I erased the mid section & added a jump pad. When i land I get an OFF TRACK notice. I even tried bread crumbs...same thing. I lowered the track, raised the track...heck I even erased the track! I have no clue what is going on? Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!2012-12-27 07:55:00

Erasing the track is the exact wrong thing to do. You need to paint it as a Reset Zone. This tells the game that as long you're above it, you're good. But falling below needs to reset you.

The reset paint is among the grounded road paints, not the bridge. Make sure it's Reset Zone and not Erase Track.

Also, turn on "Draw Navigation Map" under AI settings in the Settings menu after hitting Start. See if your landing zone is within the teal area.2012-12-28 16:02:00

You shouldn't have erased the track, because it tells the game that there is a break in the circuit and driving into the erased area will make the game think that you are going off course and it will reset you even if you land back onto the "track".
