Do you have a memorable, epic, unusual, or funny online race story to share? There is this one very intense race I had against a very good online player on a level I forgot the name of. We were far ahead of the pack of other human players and the AI, which battled amongst themselves. This player and I kept changing leads, firing mines and lightning bolts at each other with accuracy. In the end, I crossed the finish line first. We both congratulated each other through messages and we added each other as friends.

I raced and I won, that must be the most spectacular thing that happened to me, to date. >~> I haven't played in awhile though, I should pick it up again.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced something like this with either Night Rider or another track that takes a different route on the last lap (a la Firebug Circuit). You know the part where you enter Huge Monster's mouth on the last lap but the other laps before it, you swing right through it? Well, I managed to meet them as they were running into her mouth, but I somehow was put on the wrong course. I immediately went from 8th to 1st because of this accident, and I felt bad afterwards. Even still I had no idea how I managed to find myself on the Lap 1 track rather than the Lap 3 track. It's a big possibility that I was hit in the perfect spot that made the game respawn me incorrectly because I did notice that I was in 8th and that everyone else was long gone. The moment I realized I was going the wrong way was when I was shooting through her mouth and t-boning everyone with a boxing glove in the meantime. It was so weird. Have you guys encountered this? I sure hope it isn't something that can be exploited and was just a freak accident...
