hi, is there a way to use crosscontroller with the ps3 using the same tethered network, or the only way is with a with wifi? thank you.

you'd have an easier time threading a needle while wearing boxing gloves blindfolded on a mechanical bull which is attached to a roller coaster then you do getting cross-play for lbp2 to work.

I should join my local blind boxing-gloved needle threading competition then, because I played through the cross-controller DLC without a hitch.

Jokes aside this is an issue for me too. I have a single-port tethered Internet connection. I can only connect one device to my Internet at a time, with a big fat wire, like the cavemen of yore. NO wireless. Out of luck? I've synced the PSP and PS3 in the past using a USB cord. Not sure how this translates to using cross-play with a Vita and PS3, though. I'm thinking the solution is to buy a PC-to-wireless USB device to create a wireless network through my PC, which will branch out to BOTH the PS3 and Vita. That's a $10 solution, and one I can test with the PSP and PS3 before buying the Vita.

I've spent about two hours trying to get this thing to work and it just won't. I can get the normal remote play to work no problem, works almost instantly, so why will the cross controller not connect? I go to cross controller on my Vita via the remote play tab, and to cross controller on LBP2 as the instructions state.. and it just sits there on both screens doing nothing. There is no apparent struggle, nothing to suggest that they are desperately trying to connect to each other, just nothing but a screen telling me to do what I have already done. Does anyone know if this being looked at by Sony?

You would think in the time we live in now problems like this doesn't excist. Wow Sony big fail there, you would have think that bluetooth somehow also sync the network right?

I feel your pain too. For the last 2 hours i have been shouting at both my PS3 and Vita to meet up, but to no avail! ?3.99 and all i got is a fancy worm hole tool. Great!

I think I may have found a solution to this. If you can't get the PS3 and Vita to even recognize each other, you may need to temporarily delete your Remote Play information. That fixed it for me.
