Hi... Despite being well peeved at paying full price a matter of weeks ago I felt i had to share, for those who dont know that LBPK is 50% off in the psn store until 12am of the 18th of december. Worries me slightly that the games doing REALLY bad sales wise and being a long time modnationer i know how long ufg took to sort issues in that if at all, and mnr was comparatively a success, but for that price its defo worth a punt. Get it while its hot from the oven : )

I suppose it might take up more harddisk space. And shop might be faster if your download is really really slow. Anyone with the download version wanna share the install size?

14 gb. and user data is pretty large too. I love digital versions - no disc swapping for meeeee

60 bucks is overpriced for any game. I'm not a huge fan of digital games by any means. BUT that is how I got into LBP in the first place, and 14 gigs isn't that bad. Some of the games in plus are 18+gigs. So if you aren't a collector then it sounds like a sweet deal. I think it's just poor marketing, coupled with inaccurate reviews by companies that aren't that good at gaming as it is. Personally I didn't want the game, because of the Karting focus. So I got it on Black Friday, and after spending some time in it 50% off is to good to ignore, even 60 is okay. Althought 45-50 should be the full price tag for any game. In my opinion. The only real downside is HDD space. Since you can't just delete game data to free up space then throw in the disc when you want it back in. But that mostly depends on your download speed I suppose.

I bought a hard drive for the ps3 about 3 years ago, and i've never filled it. 320gig. only cos about ?70 i think.

That's not that bad then, I might have to look into that. I've got the later 80 gig. I constantly have to make room. But I've owned around 50 games in the last year or two, so fair is fair. But still. Sounds better then shelling a couple hundred before next gen comes in.
