Followers and height

Ok I have a mover related issue. If I have a follower which is a floating ball, is there a way to make it stay a certain height above me, relative to my position. For example, if I ascend a hill or stairs, it will stay above me. | 2012-12-17 06:24:00 Author: Unknown User |
A really simple solution would be to just put the actual follower on the bottom of an invisible "sticker panel stick", then attach/glue whatever logic or other things you need (the floating ball) to the top of the "stick". If directly attaching it doesn't work you could just put a tag on the top of that stick and have your ball follow that instead of the player, though you'll get an extra frame of follower lag. | 2012-12-17 14:21:00 Author: sportbil Posts: 23 |
I'll have to try that out. I feel like its got to be possible using player sensors to keep it within a certain range but also away from the player but don't know how to do this because it seems like there can only be one follower active at a time Edit: I got it to work!
