Logic Gurus, Please Help With Sackbot Issue

Alright guys, I need some assistance if you please. This is what I'm trying to achieve. I have a sackbot that I have setup for the player to control. I have that portion worked out. I have the DCS on a block of hologram that follows like glue the sackbot. When the sackbot is killed, what I want to happen, is to have the player appear from the scoreboard and collect any points that they have earned. At first, I had it set so that when the sackbot died, the scoreboard was activated and a destroyer destroyed the hologram block that the DCS is on, thus killing the player as well. This is ugly. I don't want to see the death animation, I want the player to go to the scoreboard without the death scene. Aargh! How do I do this? This is what I have thus far and I could've bet that this would've worked, but sadly, it does not. http://id.lbp.me/img/ft/9cde7a9dd9185e1de2c489d170bf4d865153ed24.jpg Ok, let me see If I can explain this, because I'm not sure I can even make sense of the mess that I've made. The tag sensor on the left is set up to read a tag on the sackbot. Should the sackbot perish, that triggers the not gate to activate the scoreboard and the destroyer that WAS on the holo block. Now this part works. The sackbot dies, the block destroyed and player went to scoreboard. so using this reasoning and an idea that someone gave me from twitter, I setup a follower and a tag for the follower, located at the scoreboard. Another tag at the scoreboard would activated the eject on the DCS. I maximized the follower distance and set up the not gate into the follower. The sackbot died and I was NOT whisked to the scoreboard. Why? I thought this should work! I then put that put that toggle switch in between and still is a no go. I have no idea what I'm doing. Bio? Creating a level? This is unheard of. Anyway, there's no need for all that logic. When your sackbot dies, simply activate a game ender. If there's a scoreboard present in the level, then a game ender will send you directly to it, even if you're in a controlinator. You can find one of these game enders in the 'world tweakers' section of the Tools Bag... I think. When sackboy is on a controllinator, especially one on invis holo, he's pretty much invincible until he's ejected. He'll be safe, no matter what happens to the sackbot, and a game ender will safely send him to the scoreboard. | 2012-12-17 14:40:00 Author: Brannayen Posts: 438 |
