The new level is called Sonic the Hedgehog Beta V.0.4.4 by Tom-550_. Feel free to play my other levels as well. In the new version I will give credit to every new person who has helped me. I will keep working on the next version.
Update 4: I must keep my word! I won't give up! I must finish what I started! Plus I enjoy creating.

I would, but sadly, there is no level link and I'm just too darn lazy to go searching for it. Maybe add some pictures as well, to further entice the reader to play the level.2012-12-17 05:04:00

Ill play and tell you what I think

EDIT:

The level (no offence) is quite horrible
Visuals is lazy just the normal background with some diffuse material as grass. the enemies remind me of LBP 1 with their brains on them. Also you can see the sackboy in the controllinator covering half of sonic.
Gameplay is slow and nothing magical. As said before jumping on enemies, they have a little eletric rod which you have to wait for it to be on the opposite side of view before you jump, slow unlike sonic. Also you only get 1 attack which is stomp and quite useless. If sonic dies you must restart the WHOLE level since there is no respawns.
The level has some potential but a ton of work is needed.
Add me on PSN if you need any help.

Do you know what, I gave this level a play and hand on heart, honestly, I really enjoyed it. I think maybe cos it reminds me of the first level I made. In truth, yeah it needs a lot of work but even so, take it as a stepping stone and a way to keep learning to improve your levels. It's level like this which is what littlebigplanet is all about after all. None of us are game developers, we're all regular folk who enjoy games, given the tools to make games. So good for you. I found this level very charming and I loved the sonic outfit.

Just FYI, if you press square on the controllinator and turn "visible in play mode" to off, then sackboy will become invisible when he gets in the controllinator in play mode.

Keep at it though, I thought it was enjoyable!

Ok, I'm queuing this one up now. I'm interested to see how it progressing. As for the jumping on enemies, isn't that all you actually did in sonic? Well I'm a sonic fan so I'm looking forward to trying it out. Throw me a psn message if you need assistance.

- Ok just played it.
firstly let me commend you on the effects you've done, I really liked the way you jump and 'sonic' rolls with the classic jump sound effect.
The music was also top notch! plus it was a good effort on making the sonic character.
I also see how it's a very early build, and if I may, I have some suggestions that could help give the level a bit more... bite:

for example:
Did you know there's a Sonic costume pack? this really looks great especially if you take time to add in the white part of sonics eyes which were left out of the costume pack for some reason.

As mentioned above, you need to go to the controllinator settings and make the controllinator non visible. this will remove the players character from view.

You could actually make rings aswell, and have them activate a score giver which would mean you could remove the score bubbles, giving it more of a sonic feel.

I'm not sure how far you wanted to go with it, but there are some excellent sonic levels out there that you can take ideas and inspiration from. have a browse in the community levels.

again, it's a good start and I really love the effort people put into levels, and how this level is pure and simple what LBP is all about! giving people a go at creating something they are interested in. Keep it up!
...and again, message me if you need any more advice of help.

Update: I'm back and I just had a brilliant discovery! I figured how to make the Sonic loops! I need help making the level background, menu system and I have trouble with level design. But I've improved it a lot since! Just need to iron out some bugs! The beta versions are just for run tests.
Update 2: Nope, never mind... The only way the loops will work is if I have the Muppets pack...I am having a lot of design problems but I'm not giving up. Beta version has crossed the 0.4.3 mark!
