I know we should be done with this subject a long time ago, and you are tired of hearing from me about the cool pages, but I really know what's going on. But first of all, I am very sorry for all my bad behavior on this site. I try to be helpful, and I like to come up with connections, but I realize that you guys didn't like it. However, I can still do good for this site. For the community on LBP, it's not dead. It will be dead when nearly nobody even plays LBP online. What's really making the cool pages bad is that LBP is targeted for kids at ages 6-12, and they like these copied levels. They don't care how poorly made they are or who made them. What they like are points and prizes. High quality levels like platformers and games don't flood with points, and kids love really high scores. If the cool pages are completely filled with high quality levels, we could feel selfish, and it's possible that the fans of Latin_Player may complain and will create their "save the community" levels. I know the cool pages are bad to us, but we are really complaining about one list of levels. Kids need their page too. Sure I don't like these levels, but kids do. And asking them to pull them off the cool pages is like asking the city council to ban fast food when it contributed to obesity. Go ahead and make all these "save the community" levels or "stop Latin_Player_10" levels all you want, but they won't accomplish anything despite getting a lot of support. You can demand removing the cool pages or copy option, but it's not going to happen. You can say that the community is dead, but it really isn't. There's no need to save the community. When it comes to trolling, I agree that trolling is serious, but there is no way to stop a troll from trolling. Fighting them makes it worse. That's what trolls want you to do. Ignoring them works. But not trolls are bad. Some like to have fun, but hate filled trolls are what we want to avoid. Even I don't like trolls, but I'm a troll for starting controversial threads on LBPC (i.e. Are there any TV Shows or Channels you see going downhill). Also, kids do like using voice chat and swear a lot, but it's common with online gaming. Telling a kid to act mature is like telling a serious gambler to not go to a casino. If things only go your way, it's possible to let the community to die. So after all, the community isn't dead; it's just that you guys aren't impressed with the state with the community. The most important achievement on LBP is having fun with it. A lot of communities have gone downhill, but not LBP's community. We just have our ups and downs.

I think the complaint about the cool pages is people keep spamming their levels over and over, if the "kids" like the spammers levels, then why don't they just go to the spammers profile and play them there and not the cool pages?

That is true, but the spammer's levels make it to the cool pages that way. And spamming is a real issue on the Internet, but it doesn't mean the Internet is dead; just a few sites like Neopets are dying. Kids just like these levels too. People like levels such as your racing levels, Cekmeout's RPG levels, and my friend's Hot Potato level too. I mean, yeah, the people who mindlessly play Latin's levels are unaware that they are copied or they just like these levels because they are levels that have at least "something". Latin_Player may dominate the cool pages, but at least we dominate the Mm Picks, which still has a lot of plays. If we get the spotlight to have its own page, it would be nice, so not all of players will be going for the cool pages. Just making these anti-Latin_Player levels or "save the community" levels won't accomplish anything, but making these levels are fine as long as you don't be offensive about it.

Well, I don't consider MM Picks an honor anymore... If you've seen some of the junk on there... It's especially to easy to get one during the seasons. Make a season related level, advertise, and boom, mm pick

IN FACT, even xbox owners will ditch their inferior console, and buy a ps3 just to play my level. Mark my words, the community isn't dead, it's just dormant. Waiting for my triumphant return. :hero:

Yup, still pretty active last time I checked. The CP probably isn't going to change much, but heck, a lot of people like it the way it is.*SHRUGPONYHERE* The CP isn't everything though, although it's where a lot of people go to play levels. I see it sort of like that random juked-up aisle in the market during holidays. You walk in and FWAM, there's all kinds of crud where there used to be a place for a designer jean clearout. But you could always just go to the back and get better stuff. /krappy analogy So if you want to find "good" levels, and by that I mean not copied and spammed stuff, look in other places. I've actually found some pretty awesome and underplayed stuff in my friends' activity. That's been said enough though, it's probably like a terrible slogan now.

Like you said, creating levels "save the community" or "latin player is a troll" will not work. I really dont understand why people create these levels. The cool pages will never change... When the immature trolls start to act mature, there will be new immature trolls. Thats how it is. People who create levels making them famous are actually worse than them. Trolls just want attention; it doesnt matter if its good or bad. If they leave a bad comment, all they want is you to answer it. If you never answer, he will get bored. And stop. Sadly people get fame from the wrong things.
