BoogadaBoogadaBoogada! (working title)

I have a new track in the works. It isn't a homage track this time around, and I am going to attempt to custom make everything. This will be the thread where I post pictures and updates. It's going to be a theme transition track.

You're in for a time consumer! I've been updating my FPS thread with what I've been doing, and in game itself I still have SOOO much more to do. At least the process speeds up after general placement becomes natural. I did settle on not making my own trees though.

Also, is that thing going to be in it? I really want that thing to be in it.

Oh yeah, it's going to be in there. It is also going to have an arm that will be snatching people off the track if I can make it work right. 2012-12-14 23:58:00

I don't know how much of this will end up in the level. I'm constantly creating stuff for it.

Your custom objects are amazing. I think the thermometer just needs to cooperate and let you create, create, create. Heh. Honestly, if some of this can't be put in the level, save 'em for another one. I'm sure you'll find use for whatever you make, but they all look great as usual.2012-12-15 16:40:00

Thanks Remy. Some of the stuff might not make the cut simply because some things look better than others. Take this floating eye thing for example. It looks fine driving past it at speed, or from a distance, but upon close scrutiny you can start to see its components. It doesn't look bad still frame by any means, but this will be a moving object for sure.

I am drawing a lot of my inspiration for these items from sources like Zombies ate my Neighbors, old B-Grade Roger Corman movies, or any cheesy 1950s and 60s Sci-Fi and Horror. I love that kind of stuff, and it is why I am making some "big creature feature" monsters rather than more "realistic" monsters.

That worm.. I know that worm... Silent Hill 3 /flashback. Easiest boss on the planet, I couldn't figure out all I had to do was shoot and move... All death worms will forever remind me of that.

Also that last thing is adorable.

That worm wasn't really from anything, but there have been worms like that from plenty of games. Remember the Zone Eater from Final Fantasy VI (III U.S.) on the SNES?2012-12-15 23:42:00

I'm afraid I didn't get into FF until, I think the eight game. I'm still not a huge fan, I prefer Legend of Dragoon. And Resonance of Fate <32012-12-16 06:43:00
