How can I make the controlinator circuit boards appear in play mode? Thanks so much for your help.

hover over the Controlinator with the Pop-it cursor, and press R1.

That's how you do it in Create Mode but how can you make it show up during play mode?

It is not possible to make the Circuit Boards visible in Play Mode.

It is not possible to make the Circuit Boards visible in Play Mode. I think that's correct. However, you can always try and make a snapshot of an opened microchip/controlinator in Create Mode and stick it onto a piece of material. In addition, there is a glitch decoration that looks like a PS3 controller, taken from the actual Pod object from LBP2's beta. You can probably add that onto the square stickered material to make it look even better; take a look at JimmyJ's levels. I think he has it there somewhere. Else, look for the Pod object, drop it in Create, select the controller and copy it with L3.
