Sackboys and Sackgirls, I have finally completed my next level. This is my debut battle arena, and it features 10 custom weapons, day-night changes, and lots of custom objects (many created during my first track Nighttime Jaunt (https://karting.lbp.me/v/2127)). I did my best to make an interesting and balanced track. There are three distinct zones: deer field, mushroom valley, and the deep forest. The battle runs well with AI, and should be relatively easy to navigate. Since the arena is a little on the larger side, I set the battle time for five minutes. This also allowed for a slow and smooth transition between early morning, high noon, and dusk. At each specific time of the day different sound effects and visual effects are triggered. The star of the arena is the weapons! I tried to make the weapons interesting and unique in both appearance and behavior. Many of the weapons are not just re-skinned missiles. My goal was to make tactical weapons that provide depth in gameplay and reward the more skilled players. A brief preview of the weapons follows: 3 Lob Bombs - A cluster bomb that explodes into 5 pieces in midair raining destruction on the opponents. 1 Self Missile - Breaks into three missiles like an old arcade shooter. 1 Mine - A proximity mine that fires bombs in all directions when players get near it. 3 Mines - Gas clouds that are good for 90 seconds or three separate kills (per cloud and all kills are credited to the player who laid the mine) whichever comes first. 5 Lob Bombs - A slime cannon that fires blobs that act as mines and expand in size after increments of 5 seconds. https://lbpk-production.s3.amazonaws.com/player_creations/139673/data.jpg https://lbpk-production.s3.amazonaws.com/player_creations/139677/data.jpg https://lbpk-production.s3.amazonaws.com/player_creations/139681/data.jpg https://lbpk-production.s3.amazonaws.com/player_creations/139689/data.jpg Enjoy!! Those are some of the coolest weapons I've seen, if not the coolest all together. I really love the 3 Lob Bomb.

I got to play this. As advertised, the weapons are unique, fun, and awesome. One thing that really impressed me about this level, though, was how it had varied terrain in it -- I really haven't seen anyone experiment with that in a battle track yet. I also like the jump pads that help you get to the other side of the track faster. Excellent work.
