Hello~

I only spent a little bit of time with Little Big Planet 1 and 2, but Modnation Racers was basically my religion for two years. I'm blown away by the track editor for LittleBigPlanet Karting; It's pretty much everything I could have asked for.2012-12-12 07:48:00

Well then, welcome to LBPC! I hope you enjoy your stay.

I too was surprised by how much UFG put into LBPK. It's like the spiritual successor to MNR. Anyway, good luck with your creations and may your logic be sturdy!

Howdy and welcome to LBPC. So glad you joined. This is really a great place to be. It's an awesome place to make new friends, learn techniques and tricks and just to have a good time. To help you explore the site I'll provide a few links for you.

The Level Showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-Level-Showcase) area is the place you want to go to make a thread about your level. We have an optional F4F (feedback for feedback) system where you tell others to check out your level, come back and give feedback/suggestions and you'll do the same for them. It's a valuable system that is underused here. Be sure to use the LBP.me tool (the white bell in a blue box icon) http://www.lbpcentral.com/images/lbpme.png this will pull your level info from LBP.me and place it in the thread for you. NOT WORKING RIGHT NOW
Before posting your awesome creation in the level showcase, please read this handy dandy guide. It will help your get more attention to your thread and your level. Thanks, all, for the warm welcome!

First off, there's no logic in Modnation Racers. A few dynamic objects have settings that you can adjust, but it's pretty limited in MNR. LBPK has most of LBP's logic system and even motors/movers grafted onto it -- you couldn't make the props move in MNR. You couldn't make your own props, edit the texture of existing props, change their color, or tilt them at angles without using a glitch. While this was limiting, the creators found ways to make some pretty cool stuff, anyway. Some of it just took a bit of imagination to 'see'. The system for editing the physical track itself was pretty much unchanged from MNR to LBPK, except for a few tweaks -- which is good. It 'twas a nice system. : )
