Does anyone know the cause of this or the solution to fix it? It'll keep freezing at the same time on the loading screen and now there's simply no way I can edit or race on it. I'd hate to see a full thermometer's work go to waste like that. Here's the level, if it even matters. https://karting.lbp.me/v/2yil

That's probably the reason why, although the game is made to sustain that much thermo, it's still in it's early stages so you'll get some slow-downs and freezing/crashing. In the meantime, you could try to copy your level onto another crater and see if you could edit it.

Did you use custom weapons on the track? There is another thread explaining that weaponators can become over-crowded and can cause freezing in a level. If you can't even get into the level, though, that isn't much help. I'd try what zzmorg said and try copying the level to another crater to see if you can get in. Try resetting the PS3, and go through all the normal routes of troubleshooting. If all else fails, you could publish the level and make it copyable, and I could copy it and see if I can open it an fix it. *shrug*

Manlius, sorry. I just fixed the privacy settings. zzmorg, I'll definitely try that right now, thank you. Wigriff, I did not have any custom weapons in the game, but now I know what to avoid. If that copying to another crater trick doesn't work, then I'll just start a different level entirely and just wait out for another patch until the game allows this level to be played. Edit: No luck on the crater idea, but thanks for the help anyways guys.

Alright man. Well, if you don't want to wait for a patch and you want to make it copyable, I'd be happy to take a look for you. If not, I understand – I wouldn't want someone to see my unpublished work either. I hope it all works out for you. I would be devastated.
