Need Music? (Taking Requests - Please Read rules)

So I want to get my face out there, and I've already done some music for some people and handed out pre-made music to those who want it. So I've decided that, if you want a piece of music done for a level you're making post what you're looking for here and I'll see what I can do.

Please try and leave a deadline for when you want the piece finished.

Another Note: I will not make music that is not original. For example: I will not re-make the "The Pirates of the Caribbean" Theme.

Please take into account too if it takes me a while to do your piece that it might take time considering that I may still be working on a piece for someone else, taking a break from LBP or studying for up-coming exams.

Do you have a gallery level published or anything?
I have a guy who I've hired several times before, and he's pretty good, but I haven't seen him around lately. Perhaps he's busy or just having a break, but I could always use a second guy to speak to for music, as well.
I'm not looking for anything just now, but if you're pretty good I'll keep you in mind for the future.

Can I ask you about your style? If left to your own devices, what genre do you normally fall into, and what 'feel' do your pieces have? (Wacky, Laid back, Motivational?)		2012-12-10 15:58:00

I have an unpublished gallery of music amassing to about 60+ songs, most of them are piano-oriented however I have done some electronica songs. I quite a lot of electric guitar oriented songs too, so I'd say my style is probably rock/pop. I started making soundtracks a short while ago, consisting of string legato, electric guitar, heavy drums and piano.

They used to be kind of relaxing but I've began to go more for the 'powerful' choruses and strong melodies. I still like to make slow emotional music though, and have quite a lot but I'd have to say I like making powerful piano oriented rock. Think "Snow Patrol", "Keane", "The Killers" and "The Feeling" they are kind of my influences. If you like, you can come take a look (Motivational/Laid Back Mostly)		2012-12-10 16:06:00

No need for a personal visit, but if you can publish your gallery I'll take the time to listen to what's there. (Unless you mean it's just a Create-Mode gallery where everything is just placed for your convenience while making stuff, rather than browsing in Play Mode.)

Well I mean for it to go into a gallery, but I just can't be bothered to do it so all my music just sits in create in separate sections. I have got preview galleries out with only about 5-7 songs but not all the songs there represent my best work.

What sort of electronic music do you have? I'm looking for music for my level. Have found a few tracks but could do with a couple more. Trying to vary the creators and find some music from the lesser known creators.

Anything jolly/happy (ie mainly in major keys) won't really fit, also I don't want the music to be overpowered and distracting. My level is a puzzle/platformer, so I'd like it so the music just fits nicely into the background so to speak.		2012-12-11 11:53:00

Obviously I wouldn't want to force anything upon you, but I'm happy to listen to what you have to offer.

I do have need for more energetic tracks too, actually. There's gonna be 2 modes in my level - timed and untimed. Going to have different a more relaxed soundtrack for the untimed, and a soundtrack with a bit more "oomph" for the timed mode. Nothing too mental more, as it's not like one of those fast platformers where you're jumping about at a million miles per hour. 		2012-12-11 12:47:00

Yeah, I'll give it a shot. I'm sure you could find it in a music gallery out there because I know for a fact it's been done, but I'll still do it if you want

Yeah I do, but I'm not sure it's the right type of "Oomph". They don't feel like songs you would play a platformer to, more just a powerful chorus-y thing. I may be wrong, maybe they are what you're looking for but I have no problem making one to fit your needs.		2012-12-18 12:17:00

Yeah that's completely fine, doesn't have to be exactly the same, just similar.

As long as it's heavy (It's going to be played when the enemies start appearing) and fits in with the VR theme. (Like the reference, it has heavy parts to it, but has it's techno(?) sounds to give it that VR feel.)

What's your status on this, Craigmond? Still hard at work? I have a short demonstration of a level, and I'd appreciate it if you could take a look, then create a music track for it.

My level involves controlling an armed train around a variety of environments fighting other armed trains.

I don't have any particular theme in mind, so go nuts.
I've found myself listening to Molgera's Theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIPTAUD0euM) from LoZ: Wind Waker simply because it kind of fits.The train-like rhythm in that music track is awesome.
But other than that, I have no idea what direction you could possibly go in.

- All the previous rules but also a deadline for when you want it done. It helps me manage my time over my own projects, school-work and your stuff.

- Also as most of you have been doing, if you could describe the level theme or scenario the music will be used in, then that would be very helpful.

Um.... confused. Honestly, I'm just going off of whatever you had in the main post, if you didn't edit it with what your comments are about then i'm sorry but my eyes hurt today and i'm really not in the mood to shuffle through them all. T-T

anyways... I'm pretty certain there isn't one in all of Craftworld so I really have no reason to make the level until I get the song, so, of which, you determine when the level actually even begins being made. So I'd prefer a soon deadline, but don't rush?
