It's hard to believe how many problems I'm running into while building a new level I'm working on.

This time the Game Cameras are messed up.

The default camera zoom (in the gameplay controls in the tools bag) is at something like 35%. Right after you're ejected out of a controlinator, a movie camera stops running, and a game camera is activated.

The game camera takes ages to reach the zoom it's supposed to (something like 110%), so you see a bunch of stuff under a platform you're not supposed to see. The said bunch of stuff must not be moved.

Is there any way to get rid of this delay?

Briefly activate a movie camera set with the same zoom as the game camera and have it to set to not disable movement, have a hold time of a couple of seconds. Game cameras are a bit dodgy, you can get much better results using movie cameras but sometimes it's impractical to implement them.2012-12-10 17:33:00
