How do you get more people to find and play your tracks? I noticed that some of you have a considerable amount of plays in a short period of time. Is there some secret I'm missing? I think that 95% of my plays are from people on this forum ? and while I appreciate that tremendously, I would like to get more exposure. lol

lol, it helps if you advertise it on other LBP forums, aswell as putting it in your signature, so everytime you post, someone will see it. As for random people on LBPK server, you'll have to get alot of plays from the forum for your level to even be noticed on the cool pages.

As zz said. It will make a difference. It's also worth mentioning that like in LBP2 when you republish a level it shows up again at the top of the Newest Levels list. I don't know how many people watch that, but I do both on .me and the game itself. I'm not sure how long it lasts there but I'd assume it has a 7 day cap or something like LBP2 does.

Ya same goes for me I'm only around the 50 play mark sad I spend days creating. What I do is go on your race play online and that way people are forced to join that's the best way for me

Man 50 still isn't that bad, really. Mad Kenny's Sweet Dreams took forever to get to the 60 plays mark and just sat that way for while. I just noticed that for some reason it has 136 plays and I don't know what happened, but I published that in the summer. And that's an older game (LBP2) with a much larger player base. I think it's half luck and half advertising. Most importantly do it for the love of doing it. Personally I try not to make any levels, or tracks that I'm not going to go back and play myself. Unless it's something I did to test out logics or designs. Lucky for us we get to create in the early stages of this game. And now I'm rambling.

Well, obviously I'm doing it for the love of doing it. It's not like I'm going to make any money off of it. I just don't want to put a ton of work into a track only to have it vanish into the muddled obscurity of the Karting multiverse. *shrug* I'm just happy that I get to make Kart tracks, though. I have always... ALWAYS wanted to do this! hehe
