Added Information (no room left for description):

- Camera + Song combinations can change the entire feel of the race. For example, full first person can make the track feel like an Off Rails coaster. While the furthest view + a faster song makes the race feel like an arcade/snes game.

- There are only two ways to score in the race itself, hit the red boosters and shoot down AI.

- The Mother Ship can be destroyed by being shot, but it's not easy to do. Regard it more as a secret, there are no points for destroying it.

- If you place in the top three you can win the UFO kart and the specs as to how it was made (control changes, cameras, songs) for a hands on approach to the in-game video tutorials.

- 5s CD stands for Five Second Cool Down.

I have made some some changes to play test some things.

First is the recording function. I used a mixture of voice and note, er notes for pre-race instructions. Let me know how it worked for you, it seems like it might be a little buggy, but I do have a high thermo and some things don't act as suspected because of this, even though they don't LOOK like they demand much (mostly due to the kart lights/possibly functions).

Second is the use of picture/text notification upon "death". I want to get an opinion on their use for tracks like this as I do have them in the FPS I am working on, but if it works here in your opinions I can expand on it in non first person style games.

So please check out the couple of changes and let me know how you feel.

Any and all opinions on the overall function are appreciated. I'm looking at a good three to four weeks before the FPS is finished (hopefully sooner if I can manage it), but I would like to continue to make arcade themed tracks such as this.

It was a good track all around, but the lighting could be a little brighter, it's hard to see on some parts, also, the handling could be tweaked but other than that, I had fun!

The voice thing was pretty neat.

I left the darkness that way in order to feel like you're in space as much as possible. Then I realized you can't see much, so I added the underglow light a bit so you don't lose yourself.

Tweaked as in how? Some of the camera views change the way the kart drives, which I like, but it also makes it harder to pinpoint the driving tweaking. I did make it so that most of the track is simple enough to drive through, but then I've played it at least 100 times. So let me know.

I'm glad you liked the voice part of this, I'm trying to work a bit more with the option this time as the recording is a bit better then it is in LBP2.

Well not the handling, but I wish the drifting was more responsive, more easier to turn those sharp turns.2012-12-15 18:19:00
