Why don't we have a level rating system? so, when you post a thread in showcase or recommend a level, then a poll or something similar automaticaly get puts in so after playing the level we can rate it from 1 star to 5 stars and maybe even add a tag or something lol xD

Just use "rate thread" if you want to rate the level, although I don't encourage it. Constructive criticism is infinitely more useful than a rating.

Yea, of course i thought about that, but this way is makes it easy yeah i can't see a downside so why not EDIT what CC said works fine

Yea that's where i got the idea from... but, that's rating the thread and people wouln't really now about it, Well i guess i can do that. If this thread is going no where as in i can't change your mind you can lock.

If more people used the star rating system it sounds like it would be doing what you are suggesting, Flash. It's just most people never bother. I know I'm guilty of often not using it. :blush:

It's easy not to rate threads because it's not very visible. I only tend to use it when I see a really good thread, or sometimes when I fall upon a really bad one (usually I just move on in that case). I don't think this is a bad idea (the level rating system idea), I would use it if it were there. But I don't know that it would be used more than the thread rating system if it weren't MUCH more visible. My 2 cents

I hate ratings. I think they're pointless tbh. They don't help you, (not to mention the way the ones in LBP work.. Always on 3 stars). Like CC said, constructive critisicsm is much more useful, and that's what F4F's there for.

Hi, I personnaly use the rating star system of threads as a rating system for level when i am in the showcase section. If everybody do the same, it would be very interesting Like CC said, constructive critisicsm is much more useful, and that's what F4F's there for. I agree, but constructive critisicism plus a good rating system would be the best!
