DreamCreators proudly present:

DreamCreators' Advent

http://lbp.me/v/gvnnge

somewhere near the North Pole some Christmas elves out from the German DreamCreators-Clan have been busy
working to present an extraordinary Advent Calendar to our community and to bring the spirit of Advent and
Christmas to our lbp-world!

Within four moody winter and Christmas scenes you can find and open the 24 doors with all the gifts to
increase the pleasant anticipation and sweeten the long wait till Christmas Eve! Ho, ho, ho!^^

To open the doors you first have to fetch a "sticker of the day" within the level, the actual sticker will open the door
of the actual date and all the doors before! So no need to worry if you have missed one day!^^

You can reach and open the doors by exploring the scenes in the way of a platformer by climbing, jumping and
using the grabbling-hook!

The gifts will be decorations and objects fitting to the Advent season and lots of carols composed by
myself!^^

On Christmas Eve there will be a surprise... (but I had to promise not to tell too much! And I will keep
this secret!^^)

We wish you all a Happy Advent Season!

Greetings, CuriousSack for DreamCreators^^

Hi CuriousSack I've been looking forward to your posting of this level!
I did play it on Saturday but before I give a review of it I need to play it again as I got hopelessly lost, sorry that I'm being a complete noob but I found myself going in and out of the level links a LOT of times as I couldn't work out which way to go, I did get the #1 sticker and finally got to the top of the hill and found the #1 advent door but didn't know how to open the door as the sticker didn't do anything on it, once again, sorry for my noobness but could you give me a nudge in the right direction please? I can say though that the artistic design was just lovely and I'm really looking forward to opening some doors once I know how

Hi Jessrocks,

I'm so sorry, but on Saturday after release we had some serious problems with the level-links so that the stickershop couldn't be opened and also the section with day 1-6 didn't function! Its been a catastrophy for us and I've been short before a nervous breakdown! I worked all day and all of the night to fix all that problems and on Sunday afternoon its all been fine! So sorry that you had to bear the desaster in the beginning! When you enter the level, first you have to get the sticker in the levellink above! Then you go back and can either explore the entrance-level or enter the section day 1-6! When entering day 1-6 you first have to put the sticker on the sticker-field on the board next and then the doors are activated (all doors up to the number of the sticker! There are little signposts to give an direction but you also can explore the scene totally free! When having opened the doors (by standing in front of them), you have to search the exit point (signposted again) and to open it (in day 1-6 it will open automatically when having opened one of the doors!) and then you can leave!

I'm hoping that this was helpful and that now you can enjoy our level and the gifts in it^^
Btw, each sticker is able to open all doors with lower numbers too!

Greetings Jürgen^^

Thank you for your reply I did just replay and managed to open the doors, I am sorry to hear that you had such trouble with your level (but glad it wasn't me just being a noob lol XD)
The design of the level is lovely as is the music, there are so many nooks and crannies to explore and it will be fun playing and finding all the doors each day. i did have a couple of the dreaded "failed to load level" messages when level linking but I guess that's because of high thermo? The level deserves way more plays than it has and I hope it gets them soon!!

Merry Christmas to you

Hi JessRocks,

thank you once again for your friendliy reply! I have no idea why the message "level doesn't load" somtimes appears and sometimes not! The thermo is in a reasonable hight, not more than 2/3! We had the suspicion that the snow on the sticker panel could be the reason maybe it bts blocking the entrance, but with exception of the sticker-shop, the snow is activiated not before you're in the level! But I will try to change the snow in the Sticker-Shop, maybe it helps!
Wish you a happy Advent season! Greetings, Jürgen^^

Hi Community,

today Part 3 (days 13-18) will be unlocked at about 7.30 pm (UTC +1) This part is a little bit different to the others,, its an indoor scenery, a Christmas room! And this time the doors cannot be opened simply by standing in front of them! This time you have to activate some switches, which are hidden in the scenery (so you have to look with open eyes! But there is always one hint for each switch, so that you should be able to open the doors and to get the little gifts!)
This part has been a lot of fun to me creating it! My favorite so far^^ I'm hoping that you will enjoy it too!

Happy Advents Season and many greetings from our snowy Bavaria, Jürgen^^

Hi, Jurgen. I really loved all the decorations and details that were in the levels. This is a great idea, and I agree these levels deserve many more plays. I can't wait to play again over the next few days to see what new stickers you and your Team have in store for us. What I like most about your level is being able to explore to find those special areas, and all the while having wonderful music to listen to. It makes for an awesome experience. Bravo on a job well done, and good luck to everyone with their linked levels. 2012-12-13 17:11:00

Hi RickRock,

thank you so much for your frinedly comment and I'm glad that you liked the Advent Calendar so far! Don't know whether you've already played days 13-18, I think the best part so far! But I've been busily working preparing the last part of the calendar so that it can be unlocked on Wednesday! I will put some pictures here, maybe I've been able to even top the other parts! This time ists the scenery of a town and again you have to find some switches to open the doors (this time the doors are the frontdoors of the houses and the door numbers are the housenumbers^^) Tomorrow I will deactivate the stickersystem for days 1-18, I'm hoping that the loading problems will decrease then!
Greetings my dear friend, Jürgen^^

Hi Community,

its finally done! Today I've unlocked the last part of our Advent Calendar! This time the scenery is a Christmas Town! And as in the part before you again have to find some switches to open the doors! To reach all areas you have to use mainly jump boards! The scenery can be explored freely, I hope you will enjoy it! Christmas is near and we wish you all a wonderful festivity! And in case that the world should really ends on Friday then we'll meet you all on the other side^^ Many greetings and thanks to all who have played our Calendar!^^ CuriousSack for DreamCreators!

The awesomeness continues! Dream Creators have done a marvelous job with this series. Apparently I missed the sublink to the Christmas town. I will have to play it again today. Also, Merry Christmas, Jurgen, and thank you for the gift of this series. 2012-12-25 14:59:00

Hi RickRock, Merry Christmas to you and your family and thanks a lot for these friendly words! The link to the Christmastown is on the trunks of the tree right above the grabbling hook! There you can find the doors 19-24! In the Christmastown I've done my best to create a really convincing town scenery!I hope that you will also like it!^^ Have a lot of fun and many greetings, also to Lady_Luck, Jürgen^^2012-12-26 08:08:00

I was able to play the Christmas Town level last night. It was a beautiful stage design and the gameplay elements were fun and exciting. This level is definitely worthy of a Mm Pick, and most definitely worthy of many many more plays. I hope your Series is Spotlighted here on LBPC, so these levels can get the attention they deserve. 2012-12-28 15:58:00

Hi RickRock,

I'm so glad that you liked the Christmas town and I totally agree with you, its also my favourite of the Advent series!^^ Its a pity that only few people have noticed it, but thats life, and I have no time to feel sad about it because my next attack on the community is close before!^^ I wanted to call it: "CuriousSack's music attack!" Because my friend Attack-here (creator of "THE Globe 1 + 2") has designed a cool "musictable" for me! A mixture of a vintage record player chest and a modern mp3-player! I have filled it with 24 of my new compositions in the style of the music of my "Curse of the Dragon" Finally we've decided to call it "Curi's and Attack's musictable"! And I'm already preparing a music video with my favourite composition! A short story about a boy with a handycap! (Can't tell you more this time but I would be glad, when you would test it, when its done! And then I finally will go on working on my "Curse of the Dragon - the game" I will elaborate the story line and start creating the stage design! I have a lot of ideas and I will control the thermo in the way of your "Refuge" via level-links! You can imagine that my Christmas Town needs a lot of thermo! And I think that for "The Curse of the Dragon"... levellinks are a cool feature, especially if they are used so smart like you did in "Refuge"!
Thanks a lot and have a wonderful residual year! Many greetings, Jürgen^^
