Country Circuit

This is my first stage and I tried my best to learn how to do things as I built it.
The track paths change every lap so stay on your toes or you'll be left behind!

You'll travel throughout a scenic country route, and even take a short trip into town!

Naturally as the race progresses time passes and the ambience changes,
so be aware of your surroundings!

Good fun - really liked the changing routes throughout the race. How did you make sure the AI doesn't crash into those barriers?

I made sure to put path finders on the fences and marked them as obstacles so the AI will avoid them. Every now and then they like to slam into the corner @ the 3rd lap intersection though lol

Yay I got a trophy! I didnt even know there was one for that haha, I cant check my trophies because it wants to sync every time I check and I've played like 230587 PS3 games, so it literally takes ~15 minutes to sync trophies : But thanks again for playing and helping me out! Loved this track! I have to go back and try to take a picture of my leafy Sackboy driving through the falling leaves. He fit right in.

But yeah, just as your screenshots indicate, I love the lighting shifts. To get everything to change like that must've taken a lot of connections.

You can press triangle when you highlight the Trophies option in the XMB and it will allow you to set it to "offline" view. You'll still be able to sync trophies when you want to, and it will sync when you view your profile or compare trophies with others especially after earning new trophies, but for general quick checking it won't constantly sync and resync, and takes much less time to display.

This was a really cool level! The shifting daylight and shifting paths were very well implemented. The track raced well, and the falling leaves effect looked great! My only minor gripe is that there seemed to be too many weapons. I got walloped pretty bad. In MNR, I used a general rule of thumb that only 3 weapon pods should be encountered on the main route each lap. I would add an additional 3 weapon pods off track on alternative paths. Without the shield I don't know what works best with LBPK yet,though.2012-12-07 15:57:00
