Apocalypse City

Hey, this is a level that I spent almost two weeks on. It is based heavily on Motorstorm: Apocalypse, featuring a constantly shifting track, and an apocalyptic theme. It's not 100% finished, but it's very close, so please try it out, and don't be afraid to leave some feedback or complaints.

I really liked this track! It had so much going on, lots of dynamic things going on (just like Motorstorm Apocalypse!) and I liked the little shortcut you had with the ramp. I felt like it was almost too chaotic at times, but that's a minor gripe really. The custom weapons were great and I really liked the overall track!2012-11-30 00:01:00

I think there were a few too many weapon pods or something- I just seemed to be blowing up all the time and never had enough shields to handle it. And then there was just a lot going on: There were the broken buildings and meteors on the track and stuff and it was just on the brink of being too much to handle. It was still a lot of fun, but maybe next time just widen the track or something when you're putting broken building/meteors on the track.2012-11-30 16:09:00

Taken into consideration, I'll try to improve it. And yeah, balancing weapons was hard. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!

Loved the idea of this level and the track changes are implemented well. Its been one of the few tracks so far where I agree with the designers choice to increase the number of laps from the default 3. Your custom weapons are AWESOME! I want them for the creators resource level. Gimmie. Gimmie.
In regards to my comments on the visuals, all of your objects are decent - the crane, the bridge, burning car, etc look nice. But then objects made out of the skyscraper wallpaper or blander areas of rock look less good. Unfortunately the answer is usually custom objects, lighting, stickers and a ton of decorations. I remember when I used to finish a level on lbp and then luos would come in and be like..."dude...you've barely started". It's a pain, but its how you make a level look truely amazing. I'm sure you've already seen them, but if you check out justinarts level and patos' city levels - try and imagine how they would look if they collapsed- thats kinda how a motorstorm apoloclypse level needs to be.

Hey, I've made a few changes to it, it looks a bit better in a few areas. However, my thermo is almost done.
