ok i may be wrong but is there a way to import your stuff from lbp2 into karting??? i am really not sure and my girlfriend is wondering how to do it! if there is a way please tell me! XD

You can't do it yet. They are making patches for the costumes to transfer over but I read that they are having some legal issues with some costumes like the assassin creed ones. I read this a few weeks ago and it didn't mention when the update would come out for. Hopefully soon.

Mind you, the patch will only contain DLC costumes, no stickers, decorations or anything else, and also no costumes you put together yourself.

Just getting impatient on this. Maybe they are releasing all at once (which i don't like I like how they did half on release date and half now in LBPV)

But then they did get lazy in creation by not giving us the wonderful move tools from LBP2 even though the game uses move. But more then likely we will.

The only importing that has been announced is costume pieces belonging to DLC. So every DLC costume you bought or buy will be usable in LBP Karting as well (with a few exceptions IIRC). Besides this, a lot of LBP 1 and 2 costumes, stickers and decorations return as prizes in LBP Karting. But nothing you created with them in LBP 1 or 2 will carry over, so you'll have to recreate outfits in Karting yourself. Think of it like this: In essence, you're not importing anything, you're getting LBP Karting DLC costumes for free if you already bought them in LBP 1, 2 or Vita.

I dont care about the costumes - as we cant choose the AI opponents. IF we could it would open up a huge range of possibilities, but in its current state you're only really looking at seeing your own costume. I would like all the materials and decorations from the DLC. Especially as i paid for them... and this is a littlebigplanet game >(

As long as it is okay for the NPCs to be in karts in the pictures. I think customizing AI costumes is a big request from a lot of people. It's probably not that difficult to code since there are already specification options of who goes where. If there are any inappropriate names or appearances, the track could always be griefed. But anyway, now that the vests are out, the cross-buy patch should be just around the corner.
