Yeah i know, just laying out and doing something really basic will take like 12 hours to set up, and then do not forget the decorating, the lighting, stickering, music, and ALL of that jazz, these things take about 40 to 60 hours to create and they think we can do it with a rookie in 3 days... not going to happen, i do not even live near there anyway.

Cheers!

I wonder how much "help" these X Games athletes are going to be to the people designing the level.

And seriously, it doesn't look like they compensate you at all, besides for the backpack.

Sounds like more work than it's worth.

I live in another country, but in a day, it may be possible to make a survival challenge or a short level. Snow mobile racing + Avalanche for a challenge might be all right. All though, I have a feeling the Athlete will do jack...2009-01-23 08:33:00

How awesome! Sadly, im a rubbish creator and in Australia xD. Anyway, it's also a bit disappointing because most of the great creators on LBPC are about 15-17 :.2009-01-23 10:12:00

ah man,ive made a level of the XGames 2009,my first, well the ramp, it runs smooth & no bumps at all on it (9/10 you will not mess up) but im sure plenty of ideas are going about it so im not really that bothered. PM if you are interested. I dont live near there though & feedback from my level is crap but it took me ages to make it.2009-01-28 18:27:00

It is a good idea ''on the sheet'' (like we say here in Italy), but with the available time nothing so good can come out of the hat. (IMO)

If you're very quick, very skilled, have clear in mind what to build, AND REALLY LUCKY you can build only a 'nice' level in that time.

All of us know very good that the building process is only the beginning, then comes the testing part when all the beautiful things you thought crumbles on your head because of who knows what, or simply doesn't works as good as you imagined...

I think I'm an intermediate creator and I'm awfully perfectionist, 'high ranked' creators are 'worse' than me (I mean a lot more perfectionist than me) but maybe you will find someone who'll accept this as a challenge... who knows?
Good luck!

No! You jinxed it. Now that will ll happen.

But 3 days isn't long enough, not enough planning went into this. hopefully, they're not expecting a fabulous level.
