This is my debut track in Little Big Planet Karting. After countless hours I have developed a track that is unique and visually stunning. The track is a nighttime race with a lot of cool lighting effects. I also created my own weapons on this track. Each weapon has a unique lighting effect, and the weapons are fair and balanced. Top stuff mate. Loved the principle of nighttime lit up by glowing mushrooms and it was executed well. Really enjoyed the multiple pathways ( I counted 3 at time - twice!) and the large open area near the end with lots of alternative weaves. I spent a good few laps working out my favourite (fastest) options. I also LOVED that you had rewards throughout the level. LBPK is extremely light on objects, so whilst I almost never kept community objects in lbp, I think I will be keeping good quality ones in LBPK - I hope more creators follow suite. It also took me a few attempts to find them all - well done for hiding them in decent places. Few suggestions.... *The music imo doesn't suit the track. I know you we're going for a relaxing night time stroll music, but this is a fast race with lots of boosting. I would go down the spooky route instead with the music. * I can't always see my own Kart - especially on the forest jump. I was trying to do a spin boost and I wasnt sure which way round I was. I love the dark... in fact maybe go darker... but then you need to make sure there are enough lights around. Big Smile from me - well done. Thanks for your plays everyone! Adipose, I agree with the music, and I originally tried for a long time to find a more appropriate song, but just couldn't find one and settled for the current one. Your other criticism is spot on, and I will implement it once I decide on a new song. One thing I noticed in your video is that it looks darker on your system than it does on mine. I am sure this just goes down to what TV is being used and what the player's brightness setting is set on. I guess that is the hazard of creating a night level.
