Surge Impacted (http://lbp.me/v/grnq2v) You've experienced a power surge in your sector of the power plant you work at. Your job is to investigate what happened and fix the problem. 1-2 players preferred due to lag issues. Music by SoundIsMe and BuddyDestruction http://if.lbp.me/img/ft/b5fb3ad2c54b50871ca65c4580b016e0d8f260e4.jpg http://i6.lbp.me/img/ft/2760ea584b2f48beb34a1a0d03956181e2836656.jpg http://ic.lbp.me/img/ft/45c610f1feb3d2cde70f180e98cd267965b53da0.jpg http://lbp.me/v/grnq2v Hope you all enjoy what took me 4 months to create. All feedbacks welcome. Thanx | 2012-11-25 01:19:00 Author: tripple_sss Posts: 250 |

Great level man loved it. The mechanics was well done, and nicely made character by Neil also looked really good. Love the creatinator gameplay you did, went well with the level. Overall good job man keep up the good work. | 2012-11-25 05:44:00 Author: Sabre_ Posts: 653 |

Overall good job man keep up the good work. Thanx Sabre, as I know we wanted a different direction with this level. But it still turned out better than I anticipated. Much appreciated | 2012-11-25 16:32:00 Author: tripple_sss Posts: 250 |
Played it this morning. quality in every way. you should be very proud of this level. Like i said in-game, no one does complex contraptions as well as you. Regarding the short length of the level. It didn't bother me, in fact it only left me wanting more, and lets be honest, isn't that exactly the feeling you want to leave with a player? | 2012-11-25 16:56:00 Author: thespacemonkey187 Posts: 318 |

I just hope players understand how much are hands are tied with how much our thermo's limited too. I guess that's my que to start up a part 2 huh | 2012-11-25 19:09:00 Author: tripple_sss Posts: 250 |
I think so! Time to get the old note book out and start planning even more complex ways to wow the community. | 2012-11-25 19:13:00 Author: thespacemonkey187 Posts: 318 |
If you excuse me being brutally honest, here are my thoughts. I appreciate the effort that went into making this, but the end result was a very short level that, while good looking and well presented, had pretty mediocre gameplay that just wasn't fun. The shoot switch untl it activates something gimmick hasn't been fun... ever really. The character and story set up a situation that's much more intimidating and exciting than what the actual level is. The ending was also pretty anti climatic and seemed pretty lazy. What I'd love to see is you salvage the style and art assets and remake this into a fun, awesome looking level that's a decent length as well. I know you have it in you judging by your previous levels. But you can just ignore me. Nice visuals and presentation, but that's it. Don't hate me. | 2012-11-26 14:08:00 Author: bonner123 Posts: 1487 |

Don't hate me. if anything Bonner, I don't hate but appreciate honesty more coming from honest players. Thats why they call it constructive criticism. Anyone who can't handle that should'nt post levels in the first place. Just as you stated, I could'nt agree more that the gameplay was quite bland and unoriginal. Having said that, I wanted to show off my logic and design skillsr reflected from the mechanics as well as the design of my level. And to be honest, this level was originally created for a series our group was trying to showcase but ended up cancelling due to certain commitments that we as a whole could'nt finish. So, this levels original intentions was to introduce the creatinators' use and purpose(open doors and contraptions) and not so much for the gameplay elements.so I had to alter several things about this level that looked rushed and lazy. I'm not trying to make excuses, but I promise this much, I'm gonna continue from this level and offer more original and challenging gameplay in my next installment. Well, I'll try at least anyways. Glad you came out and said this. Thanx for that | 2012-11-26 19:06:00 Author: tripple_sss Posts: 250 |
Cool, thanks for responding well. The level is still great in certain areas, so don't be discouraged. | 2012-11-26 22:31:00 Author: bonner123 Posts: 1487 |
Hi tripple, i thought the level was cool man. The mechanics are super slick and it seemed that even opening a door in the future was a complicated business! I agree with bonner that the gameplay good have been better. It wasn't bad though and everything looked and worked well and was in keeping with the level. If the focus is on the mechanics then they could maybe be intergrated with the gamplay more - not just an awesome way to reveal a switch Like mechanisms that you have to activated in a certain way or certain order or with huge cogs or parts that need avoiding etc etc I like a short level - lord knows i try to keep mine short but fail everytime. Long arduous levels are much worse than short sweet ones IMO especially with so many levels out there. No probs on this from me. Maybe had thermo for a boss fight tho Overall, very cool stuff triple! Love it if you would F4F my latest level 'Shade Seeker: Suns of Arrakis' http://lbp.me/v/gd6cvh | 2012-11-27 11:09:00 Author: THe EGG Posts: 75 |
but most incredible logic, this level represents the perfection of logic in a pure state 'll add the heart today, before I forget lol | 2012-11-28 01:54:00 Author: vusco Posts: 183 |
Bravo sir! Tripple_sss just got hearted (one more time I'm sure) for such a job well done on Surge Impacted. What a visually captivating environment you've created. The complex intricacies right from the start with the elevator to all the creative door mechanics, and gravity defying game play makes this one of the better levels I've played on LBP2. A big tip of the hat to the gentlemen from Ghost Creators. I hope you guys are cooking up a sequel. I realize now that my skills are quite unfortunate when stacked up against yours but this would be a perfect opportunity for me to get some constructive criticism. If you find some time would you mind playing mine? MineQuest: http://lbp.me/v/gtj168 | 2012-11-30 00:17:00 Author: Unknown User |

And to answer your question, yes, I'm currently working on a sequel only because I've gotten so many responses to do it. Only this time, I'm adding more challenging gameplay. I've got your level qued, so I should have a feedback fairly soon. Glad you enjoyed it | 2012-11-30 01:38:00 Author: tripple_sss Posts: 250 |
Another unique level tripple! Your mecanisms are really clever and so awesome as usual! And the design and decoration, so beautiful and amazing is unforgetable too! Congrats again man! Can't wait next levels | 2012-11-30 18:38:00 Author: alain251 Posts: 128 |
Great level. The level felt short, but excellent visuals and awesome creatinator use made this platformer up. The obstacles are far amazing, too. SoundIsMe's and BuddyDestruction's music are brilliant choices. Looking forward to part 2.
