Before I plan on calling a level I'm making finished, I intend to add some notes during some pre-race movie camera scenes telling you about what to do, like they do in certain story mode levels. However, what I'm trying doesn't seem to be working, and I haven't gotten it to show up yet. There are multiple hud tweakers I have placed, all giving text to the same note object I've placed onto the hud, and set to a timer of 5 seconds. The first tweaker is connected to the pre-race output, and all the rest are connected to movie camera outputs. If I'm doing anything wrong, or if this is a game problem, or if I'm supposed to do it a completely different way, please let me know. Thank you.

it is not notes you need it is the magic mouths that create the writing at the beginning of the level as long as you have them inside a sequencer and set to "subtitles on"

Hmm, good point! You don't get to see any HUD elements until after the countdown, so any notes would be invisible outside the race, too.

no problem! i only know because i had to figure it out for my own level one thing that is annoying though is you can only write small sentences in magic mouths i had to use soo many overlapping each other to say what i wanted to say! lol
