Yeah, seeing as they're going off a BBC quote, who are hopeless when it comes to games, I really don't think it's actually in development. They probably saw them working on DLC and updates, didn't quite grasp the concept of updates for a console game, and just jumped to the first conclusion they could find.

Guys you are easy to get your hopes up. First of all: -October 2008 (it's old) -GameCyt = who the hell are they -Blog news = crap -It's under "rumor" . It has been knowned during last fall that there is some LBP PSP in the making and it's probably what that rumor ended up to be.

They've stated that LBP will be a platform. At the same time though, Harmonix said the same thing about Rock Band, and that got a sequel. Either way I hope they don't make a sequel for the sake of a sequel. I'd rather see more stuff like the MGS Level pack that introduce new mechanics. If they keep on making great downloadables like the MGS Level pack, I'll have no problem spending my money on 'em.

I pretty sure that Sam recently stated that LBP2 wasn't under development. Edit Found it. Link (http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/lbp/board/message?board.id=pod&message.id=29383#M29383) While it's almost inevitable that there will be a LittleBigPlanet 2 at some point, don't expect to see it any time soon. The discussions about any kind of sequel are verging on being hypothetical right now, and there certainly isn't any plan for a second game at this time. What's highly likely however is that discussions are taking place about how things would be done differently, and how the existing LittleBigPlanet community and the work they've put in be translated across to a new game if and when it was released. Put any talk of sequels out of your minds for now, we've barely scratched the surface of LittleBigPlanet and we've some major plans for the game this year I think everyone will enjoy.
