Hi there! This is my second level, and given the enthusiasm and quality of the criticism I've seen on the site, I figured I'd show it off here.

It's a puzzle game following the formula laid out by Cut the Rope and similar games: Get some object from a start point to an end point, collecting bonuses along the way. However, given LBP's fantastic physics engine, I think there's a good chance for this subgenre to really shine within LBPV.

It's very short - only six mini-levels, but it should be easy to make more based on the work I've already done... if I ever find the time. I'd love to know what you think of what there is so far; in particular, which levels do and don't work in your opinion, and whether or not the tutorial messages give sufficient guidance. Enjoy!

Hey,

This was a truely amazing level. The puzzles were fantastics, the level, from the clean visuals to the menu was awesome. The level length was not an issue for me, as I tried to get 3 stars on each sub level, and I really liked that all sub level introduce a new gameplay idea. Fantastic job, really.

My only critisism, if I have to find one, is that the last level -with the hexagons- is not as clear as the others. I guess that once you know the solution, it's easy, but trying to predict the behavior of the ball when you launch it is difficult, and you cannot plan your progression as you were able to do in the 5 first levels.

Anyway, congratulations, I hope you'll get the recognition you deserve.

Thanks for the kind words Slurm! Means a lot coming from someone with levels like yours. Indeed, the final level may require too much trial and error - it was tricky deciding what to hide. However I wanted to keep tutorial text to a minimum, as on that particular level it may otherwise give away the solution. I might look at it again of course.2012-11-20 00:16:00
