Which creator packs do you recommend for LBP2?

I'm looking to purchase some creator packs for LBP2. Currently just have what came with LBP2. Which ones do you think have the best materials/stickers? Are there some better than others? I think I already own most of the original LBP creator packs that had decent material and stickers. | 2012-11-16 03:36:00 Author: enodrawkcab Posts: 238 |
Just to be clear, you mean out of all the available LBP2 DLC? Because I believe "creator pack" is an established term referring to packs that are usually free. The closest thing to a creator pack for LBP2 would be the Move pack, which adds new logic, the paint feature, and the very helpful "sticker panel" material as well as several playable stages with loads of objects and stickers. Warning: to actually collect most of this stuff you will also need the Move wand and Playstation Eye/Move camera. The DLC is $10 USD, the most expensive but also the most worthwhile purchase in my opinion. As a trophy completionist I've bought the Move pack and the Muppets, and because I wanted it I also bought the Music pack (lots of Ms!) and they were fun to play, but overall I haven't used them for much. The sticker panel material from the Move pack is the best thing out there, personally. | 2012-11-16 06:44:00 Author: Unknown User |
Cool I didn't realize there was a music pack for LBP2. Definitely planning on getting the move pack. I am mostly looking for packs that offer new material... i.e. like the brick from the Move Pack, I've also seen some neet material from the muppet pack in other peoples levels. Are there any other "must have" dlc packs for LBP2? (i.e. ones that add decent sounds, costumes, materials, stickers or tools?) | 2012-11-16 21:34:00 Author: enodrawkcab Posts: 238 |
If you have Move, get the move pack. Making you're own stickers is great for creating and the sticker panel material has proven invaluable to me. The other one I suggest is the Muppets pack, not just because of the attract-o-gel but also because it has lots of great materials. I particularly like the felt and fur ones as their colours can be selected without the need to cover them with a huge sticker. Hope this helps and happy creating! | 2012-11-16 22:27:00 Author: Jedi_1993 Posts: 1518 |
Move, Muppets, and Metal Gear Solid. Definitely the Move, and I'm glad you're getting that pack. The Muppets pack has lots of great stuff in it and awesome levels. Metal Gear Solid pack also has cool materials and objects. | 2012-11-26 00:13:00 Author: aar2697 Posts: 143 |
I like the Pirates of the Carribean pack but I guess as everyone gets water now it's not as useful, but there are some really useful materials and stickers, especially if you plan to make any kind of buildings. | 2012-11-28 16:49:00 Author: kirbyman62 Posts: 1893 |
