The title says it all. Ads on TV are here for a reason, but we do get annoyed by the ads. In my opinion, I don't care if they play the same ads or have a long commercial break (10+ minutes), but what I hate the most about commercials is when they display the same commercial within the same break. Take for example: Commercial break is on. First commercial is Commercial A. Next in line is Commercial B. Commercial A plays after Commercial B before the break is over. This is what I hate about commercials.

I don't have anything against gamestop personally (only store in my town that had Armored Core V, so i was grateful for that) but their ads just make me mad..

I just hate them, but a few things will make me hate them even more: Repeating the prices over and over again. Having a really really long one that shows the same thing several times. You know, like those stupid blender commercials. Those commercials that don't even relate to anything. Once I saw an electricity company commercial that just had yelling cats. Having obnoxious music. I think this one applies to every second commercial I see. Not bothering to make a decent commercial. Sometimes I see a commercial, and I make a mental note to myself to never, ever buy anything again. Luckily, most of the time I'm a complete idiot, so I forget to never buy anything again, maybe because never buying anything again is as dumb as always buying everything. Anyway, using Powerpoint-esque animations DEFINITELY counts as poor design. :kz: Using Comic Sans. *shudder* ...I have no idea who would be brave enough to go on TV with words typed in Comic Sans hovering in front of them. Well, Comic Sans is used for basically every third or fourth thing I see, so whatever. But a life insurance commercial? With Comic Sans? I seriously cannot think of any one person who would use Comic Sans for text when some bald guy with glasses talks about funerals and death, but THESE PEOPLE EXIST. Oh man, what is humanity coming to.

I don't know about you guys, but it's commercials that treat their customers like idiots while trying to make the commercial funny that I hate most. Mostly I see this on beer commercials, but I've seen it on several other types of advertisements as well.

There are a few clever commercials out there that are funny to see here and there... the rest are pretty darn stupid and some horribly irritating. I think part of it is the continued dumbing down of society. Either thinking the average person is that stupid or they just keep lowering the bar. ...or it might be the ad companies are just filled talentless hacks!! lol ...but commercials are why DVR's are so important. We record pretty much everything and either watch it the next night or just start it a bit late so we can fast forward through all the commercials.

Those **** kids just can't leave Lucky alone. They just hunt him down for his bowl of cereal... like monsters. They never even ask their parents if they can get it at the local family-owned grocery store. They just relentlessly hunt down a leprechaun just for his breakfast. It's as if they live for nothing more than to see him squirm. Monsters. The lot of them...!
