Header Picture Question

Archive: 10 posts

If this is the wrong forum to ask in, i apologize, but it is a site-specific question, so...

One of the header pictures shows a computer head sackboy floating above a centipede-looking thing, each segment of the centipede has an open microchip on it, and it looks like the player is working on some logic...

except, i've never seen those particular logic bits before, the ones on top look like circles with arrows coming out of them diagonally, the ones below kinda look like rockets, and they're all shiny.

It looks really cool, but i'd be lying if i said it hasn't been bugging the living heck out of me.

Friendly mods, save my sanity, what the heck's going on in that picture?

LOL right forum, so you're good there.

I don't know for sure where that picture came from, but as far as I know those are some of the very early images of what LBP2's logic looked like. I think.

I'm sure somebody around here knows more about it.

Okay, that's aces then.

It can be a heck of a surprise to see how much a game can change from early development to final product, i still remember pictures in Gamefaqs or EGM of Resident Evil "1.5" (i think it was called) with some very different looking characters than what would eventually become RE2.

Anyhow, thanks a ton Taffey, that's one less thing for my brain to get tattered over.

It's early Pics of logic the company put out even before the beta was ready. so Taffey is right. *mew

PS: Somehow some people got their hands on some of them actually. ask around. you may find someone who can give you some of them.

Hrmmm...i think i may pass on that, i have a near-phobic fear of glitches, weirdness, and anything that might screw up my LBP file (which is weird, 'cause i have a near-phillic love of all of that in real life). So far it's served me well, in that i've avoided the dreaded file corruption.

Gah...just typing that feels like i'm tempting fate.

Well if you have a fear of them then i will not say you should do it. but normally glitches are fine. I practically swim in glitches. i use them all the time and have done so for years. and i don't have any abnormal problems that i can tell. Actually i've known many people who don't use glitches and have horrible profile problems anyways. you just gotta be somewhat careful and you should always be fine. but like i said I'm not telling you to use them, just saying that almost all of them are safe. I could not build my levels without half of them tbh. *mew

PS: Here's a interesting tip. it's actually more dangerous to your profile when you simply join other players online then it is to use most glitches...

Huh...i would've never figured...though to be honest, i don't join other players hardly at all (just when i'm trying to get multiple player necessary prizes....my available playing time is a bit random, and i feel really bad dropping out on people in the middle of a level is why), i wonder if that's why i've been so lucky with my profile...well, this paycheck was more generous to me than i'd expected it would be, so i swear this time i'm going to buy a memory stick so i can start backing up my stuffs in a reliable way...really...for reals i will *checks the list of bills for the hundredth time to make sure this is actually possible*

Also...as a complete aside...150 posts! woot woot!

Well unless you are worried about your PS3 dieing or erroring badly. a memory stick is only needed in case of something someday maybe going wrong with the PS3. Because you can just use the ingame feature to backup copies of your profile on to your PS3's HDD normally instead. which is what i use a lot. i only rarely backup my profile using my Portable HDD tbh. *mew

Fume, you are a font of useful wisdom, and for that, thanks.

i do worry a touch about the PS3 going belly up, it's seen fairly heavy these past years, and has started to sound like a jet taking off. Still, it's nice to know the in-game backup feature works just as well for these particular issues.

Thanks again, and have a fine day!
