Simple "Don't move me" request.

Archive: 3 posts

Is it possible if we said, please don't move our threat, say from Projects or Help, to Find happy gadders, that they could be left alone? I really dislike the FHG forum because when I watch the viewers # its often 0, and I've never gotten real responses from that forum like Help or Projects, and it specifically is in the LBP2 listing. It's kind of heart breaking to be ready to get "help" testing before finalizing or checking before going to a next wave, and suddenly your thread gets yanked to another directory and becomes ancient history. The site is to get help and create community, and redirecting threads to much less used pages isn't very fun. I feel "Projects" and "Level Showcase" do both sides just fine, in my opinion, and "Help" works just fine for people needing help with music or logic. That's all, off of my soap box I go. 2012-11-14 23:17:00

Personally, I just think it's a problem with the find other happy gadders directory. If there was one of those in each subsection it probably would be a bit better. Generally people don't really check the subsections that, for the majority, don't have anything to do with their version of LBP.2012-11-15 04:51:00

Thanks for the suggestion! Your post is well-timed, as this is something we've been working on lately anyway.

We've switched things up a little bit so that game-specific requests (e.g., "I need help testing my LBP2 level") will now end up in the Everything Else forum for the related game, whereas generic requests (e.g., the LBPC Twitter list) will go to Find Other Happy Gadders.

I hope this helps!
