I've noticed that golden streams sometimes seem to thread from my kart during a race. Does anyone have any idea what their purpose is? I recall that it happened during the BETA, and it seems to be a feature, not a glitch, but, as of right now, they don't seem to serve any use. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

That means you're riding a draft from the Kart in front of you, give's you a little speed boost. I'm not sure if you get extra points.

Great, thanks! I couldn't find it anywhere, and since I didn't know what it was called, Google didn't help much. Just curious, how'd you know that? I still have yet to read the digital manual. . .

I found out about that in the beta, but I can't remember how - maybe someone mentioned it in the private forum. I think it's a little confusing, Drifting and Drafting

Oh, is that what drafting is!? I saw the term in some scoring tweaks but I couldn't find its meaning anywhere.
