Hooray, it's time for a new level. In all honesty, I've been working on this for a while but I've never had the time to finish it. It's my entry to the touch-tilt contest, and I think it provides nice, unique examples of both while looking pretty decent looking. It's relatively brief and a dedicated player should be able to beat in within three minutes should they rush through. There are multiple ways to approaching some of the obstacles, and that in addition to tons of points and a race should make it a replayable and fun level. Hopefully.

So yeah, any feedback would be great. I'll edit it when I can, but due to the contest rules and several papers I won't be able to for a while. Thanks.

Wheeee! I must tell you are one of my favorite level creators bonner! You always accomplish excellent gameplay ideas, originality, and challenge many creators seem to be afraid of. Wish you the best of luck in the competition. Queued!2012-11-13 03:23:00

Thanks a bunch. Hopefully most players will be able to actually complete it as I consciously tried to make it easier.2012-11-13 13:09:00

It's truly a great, beautiful level - I thought the puzzles regarding tilt and the rolling balls were very clever. As were the layer switching portions. Like you said though, I thought it was a bit easy for one of your levels. Not a bad thing, just that I've come to love your super-hard-on-the-player-only-three-people-besides-bonner-on-the-scoreboard levels. 2012-11-13 23:21:00

I mostly make those levels for the console. The vita doesn't really lend itself to hard platforming, and if I want to make it anywhere in the competition I need to pander a bit. On the plus side, it's the first level in ages I got on cool page one.2012-11-13 23:58:00

To be fair, I'm not shallow.

I'll add some achievements once the contest is over. Once I get these papers done I'll start working on my next Vita level, as well as hopefully finishing my Ruins of Aether level on LBP2. My schedule should clear up after Tuesday.

May I ask if Ruins of Aether has anything to do with the jump-dimensions gameplay that Metroid Prime 2: Echoes had? Lol, I'm making a level about that. And I remember the mentioned Metroid game was set in a place called Aether. 2012-11-18 00:50:00

I've never played Metroid Prime 2, so hooray! In all honesty, it will be a pretty basic platformer (with some unique, but easy obstacles). It's mostly based around visuals this time around. In all honesty, I'm tired of trying to create unique, challenging platformers when the end result is people complaining about the difficulty and generic levels getting spotlighted instead of it. I'm also having too much fun making stupid levels with my friends, so there's that.2012-11-18 02:09:00

Hmmm, yeah, its kinda sad how people prefer shiny dumb levels where you basically move straightforward watching the premade nature objects all way along. Oh well, I know it will be great anyway.2012-11-18 04:27:00

Played this one last night. I will just have to repeat what I left on the level.

Brilliantly Evil.

What a great use of the new Vita stuff. Poking this dood dad while jumping to miss spikes. Tilting the Vita to walk on rolling stuff. Really great and challenging stuff!! At times I just sat there looking thinking how the heck, to finally realize what new torturous hand gymnastics was called for next.

Worse thing yet was it gave me some great ideas.

Really well done!!

Woohoo, this level was one of the winners for the contest. Winning this contest gave me more enthusiasm for the game and has taken me out of an uncreative slump, so expect some more levels from me soon. Hopefully.2013-01-14 13:08:00

Super Mega Ultra Bump!

EDITS:
-improved camera angles
-added achievements
-polished up a few areas where the level could break
-glued some things down

Once I finish HAUS on LBP2 I'll make a few new LBPV levels. Uni has been busy! :0
